We had a wonderful private class with Manoj Babu. We arrived feeling a bit stiff from lots of travel and left feeling relaxed, enlivened and well stretched. Babu was kind, insightful and tailored the class specifically to our needs. The view of the Ganges was a wonderful treat whilst doing the asanas Babu even took us on his motorbike to drink juice. We highly recommend his classes and wish we could return for more.

Manoj Baba met me on a backstreet I was walking by to reach Assi Ghat, which is the first eastern most important pier on Ganga river, he began to speak with me with guru attitude about yoga. I told him I tried it many times before, but it's not for me because I got back pain. He asked me which kind of pain it is and I answered scoliosis, protrusions and verticalization of a trait of spine, he just added that my teachers were bad and I trusted his confidence so we booked an appointment for the morning after at 7, even if he initially didn't believe me, he delayed 7 minutes, but it's nothing. We started laying on the ground and breathing, then exhaling long AUM, then he chanted and we repeated SHANTI! The exercises we did were medium complicated but very interesting and he complimented me, guessing even I was 10 years less my age, which is 40 yo! All this in front of dawning, luminous, sacred Ganga seen from a big window: fantastic and refreshing. My best yoga session ever. TOP!

I found this school on google and decided to trust the reviews. Totally worth it. My sister and I went there for a yoga class. For her was the first time doing yoga and the teacher, Siddharth's brother was super helpful adapting the class to our level. If you are looking for a real yoga class in Varanasi give them and opportunity and you won't regret it. We then moved from Varanasi to Rishikesh, where I had the chance to practice with Siddharth too. He is a wonderful teacher. Thank you both for the experience and the guidance 🙏

It was a Very nice Yoga Class with a lot of explanation. We were only three people in the class. It was challenging but not too hard. Would definitely go there again!

Probably the worst yoga class I’ve ever taken in my life. The shame that was brought to me by the “guru” was completely unexpected and unnecessary. Informed of my knee injury apparently there was a problem for me to modify. Even after he says “if it hurts back off”. I’ve taught yoga for ten years and although it may not be the a style of yoga that is exactly like in India I would never shame a student. And the two other students I was practicing with there really wasn’t much difference in our practicing styles. “I threw the energy off, I’m not welcome to that class again.” I would never say that to a student. Shame on you.

Manojs classes were truly fantastic. He places a strong emphasis on breathing and alignment, creating a practice that feels both grounded and intentional. What impressed me most is how quickly he can read your body; almost instantly he notices where you may need support, correction, or extra attention. He teaches with great presence and awareness, making everyone in the room feel seen. He is attentive and focused, and he knows exactly when to be firm and disciplined to help you grow in your practice. At the same time, he balances this strength with a gentle, kind energy that makes the class feel supportive and safe. His guidance is both powerful and caring, which creates a beautiful balance in the class. You feel challenged, encouraged, and held at the same time. It’s clear that he teaches with experience, intuition, and genuine dedication to his students’ development.

I took a yoga class in Varanasi and can highly recommend the lessons with ManojS. As a beginner, I immediately felt comfortable and at ease. Manoj explains the postures calmly and clearly, with great attention to alignment and breathing, and he gently corrects you when needed. What made the class even more special was his great sense of humor and genuine hospitality. The atmosphere was relaxed, personal, and warm — exactly what you hope for when practicing yoga in such a spiritual city. A wonderful teacher with knowledge, care, and an open heart. Highly recommended for both beginners and more experienced practitioners!

Siddharta is a true yogi, on the mat and in life. The days spent with him and his brother were wonderful, there are no words to describe them. Only immense gratitude. the shala is bright, spacious and clean The best in Varanasi.
