Couldn’t recommend this enough. We had just come from a coffee plant tour so it’s the perfect next step in our coffee journey.

I really liked the experience, it was very complete and we learned a lot from coffee, we had already made more coffee experiences even on a farm, but I feel that this was the missing complement to experience all phases of coffee and really know how to choose a good coffee. I liked that Javier knows a lot about the subject and explains very well, apart from giving you a list of where you can go to buy a good coffee

My family booked the coffee experience on a whim. We took my older parents in their 70s, my husband and myself and my 10 yo son (who brought a book to keep himself busy). This ended up being one of the highlights of our time in Medellin and even my son participated and throughly enjoyed the experience because Javier was so engaging! We truly loved it from start to finish! Javier was knowledgeable and friendly and really interesting. We learned so much about how coffee is produced, in general, and more specially in Colombia. The coffee experience was well worth our time and money and we truly recommend it to anyone visiting Medellin. Thank you, Javier, for such an enjoyable time!

we booked the coffee tasting experience with Javier and it was phenomenal. He covered the part of coffee knowledge and tasting which you don’t get by visiting a coffee farm so it was a perfect experience. Javier knows a lot about specialty coffee and it is done in a really nice setting in the hotel. Can highly recommend!

One of the best activities I had in Medellín. I had stayed in Jardín, where many of the coffee farms in Antioquia were located, and this coffee tasting experience added more layers to my coffee farm experience. It didn’t have a lot of overlaps and was very educational, with detailed explanations of different flavor profiles. Also, the café recommendation was very useful during my short visit in Medellín.

This was a disappointing experience. It only lasted one hour, and I thought that we were going to talk a lot more about describing the flavors of coffee and how to do a cupping properly. It was very surface-level and overpriced. I cannot recommend this activity.

We tried the coffee experience and it was really informative. Javier is highly profesional and we learnt a lot and tasted different types is coffee. Although we have tried to visit a coffee farm this was something extra that there isnt a lot of in Colombia. I would recommend this to anybody who loves coffee. For the rest of our tour and future coffee shopping we now know what to look for.
