Pompeii 4U created a personalized tour of Pompeii based on the interests and wishes of our group. It started with a delicious three course lunch and wine tasting/ vineyard tour on the slopes of Vesuvio. The curated menu was delicious and featured locally grown produce (tomatoes, pumpkin, eggplants, lemons, and or course the wine!). They were patient with my many, many questions (I was quite nervous about choosing a company in another company without a direct reference) and they came through big time when our day came for the excursion! Our guide, Michele, was fantastic! His passion for the history of Pompeii came through and never wavered as led us through the ancient streets and shared story after story illustrating what life in Pompeii was like before Vesuvio erupted. Our driver, Antonio, kindly and effortlessly brought us from our hotel door, through the busy and chaotic traffic to our destinations and back safely in a comfortable, climate controlled vehicle. It's hard to sum up the experience if you have not been. But if Pompeii is on your list, do not hesitate to enlist Pompeii 4U to create the perfect experience for you. They were also able to offer other experiences (Naples city tour), though we didn't opt for that...this time. Hands down, The Best!

It is really rare to be able to have such a passionate and competent account about habits, construction techniques, organization of society and, at the same time, admire so much beauty. It was not a simple visit but a real journey back in time. All this thanks to a guide I would say undoubtedly excellent!! Thank you Vincenzo Paduano.

Visiting Pompeii at sunset was a truly special experience. The guide Melania was truly 5 star, her emphasis in talking about Pompeii made everything seem truly magical. I highly recommend this experience, you will be amazed!!!!
