Really great class and writing this as I happily munch on my cooking :) Julia was FANTASTIC and that cup of tea helped energize me. Only suggestion - offer a certificate (would cost almost nothing) graduate of class in Paris with the date ... something nice but inexpensive that I would have enjoyed hanging up at home.

It was amazing!
Joannie was amazing! She welcomed us in her beautiful home where she had an adorable cat that was very friendly. She was so sweet to serve us fresh madeleines she made her self. She showed us every step of making a croissant. From making the dough and buttering each layer and folding it to shaping the dough and rolling it into the right form. She explained the ingredients and gave us solutions to a lot of difficulties we might face while making the croissants. We had some fresh croissants and pain au chocolat after they were freshly baked and took a bag of goodies home with the recipe! I highly recommend Joannies class. Thank you

Fun making pastry in Paris!
We had a wonderful time learning to make croissants and pains au chocolat! Joannie was a wonderful host and teacher. Very warm and knowledgeable. We learned some history of pastry making and a lot of tips on how to make the dough ourselves and other pastries to us the same dough to make. We had a lot of fun! AND we got to eat some fresh pastry, and take some 'home' with us. There was a couple with two teenagers with us, and both adults and kids enjoyed the activity.

Hands on Making French Pastry
This was a fantastic hands on class to learn to make Croissants and pain de Chocolat! The instructor was fantastic. We took our 10 year old grand daughter and we all loved it and learned so much. It was in a relaxing atmosphere and we got to sample as well as take home several of each pastries. Highly recommend but not for young children.

Outstanding experience. We loved it.
The croissant class was one of the highlights of our trip. It was so much fun and Joannie was so knowledgeable. We were full participants in the making of our delicious croissants compared to just watching someone else do it. Highly recommend.

Caution, danger of addiction: After this workshop there is no turning back!
There were three of us at the croissant workshop as a family – and what can we say: It was just mega! From start to finish we had an incredible amount of fun and learned a lot at the same time.
With a lot of expertise and patience, we were shown step by step how to make the perfect, buttery-leaved croissants from simple dough. Everyone was allowed to lend a hand – from mixing the dough, to rolling out the dough, to shaping croissants and pain au chocolat.
In addition to the great instructions, there were also many tips and tricks that you only get from professionals. In the end, we could proudly take home our own bakes – and they were not only beautiful to look at, but also heavenly delicious! 😋
An all-round successful day full of fun, enjoyment and family time – we can only recommend this workshop! 💛
