100% Recommend

We had a lovely evening attending Soybirds Vegan Cooking Class. The food recipes we cooked were so tasty and you get sent them afterwards. We felt the price was worth it considering you also get wine alongside the food (starters, sides, main and desert). It was a really nice group with 9 of us. The kitchen is really nice and staff were very friendly and helpful. The only thing we would have liked was more information provided during the experience about the Greek foods or ingredients we were using.

A Greek Feast

We have been on a 2 week trip and this was absolutely one of the the highlights. We had such a fun time cooking and learning about Greek food. Our chef lead us through the whole process, checked in with us while we were cooking with pieces of advice, and made sure everyone was having fun. We will absolutely be making these recipes when we get home. Absolutely book this class

A fun and delicious activity!

Amazing experience, the girls were both so sweet and super helpful throughout the experience. It's clear Dimi had so much love for the food she makes, and it was such a nice experience after cooking to eat what we made with the rest of the class! A great way to meet new people and learn how to make greek dishes with a vegan twist. We're not vegan and thought the food was incredible, we'll definitely be making them again, especially the tzatziki and fava.

Add this to your Athens itinerary

This was one of my favorite experiences in Athens. First, the food was absolutely amazing. My husband who is not Vegan or Vegetarian loved all of it. We just made a bunch of the recipes back home. Second, the cooking class is hands on but they provide guidance along the way so you don’t mess anything up. It was the perfect blend of learning but having help. Plus they wash all the dishes. Third, we got to meet such interesting and fun people- including the instructors. I left the class feeling so good from the food and the connection. Yes you should take this class!

An overall pleasant experience.

A fabulous experience. We prepared and ate the best meal we had thus far in Greece. The facilities, instruction, and organization was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful experience!

I absolutely loved my SOYBIRD experience. Dimi was such a wonderful host for all of us. She was so personable and did a great job teaching us about the dishes. She made for a great environment. The recipes were wonderful and the food was delicious. Also met some great people and friends along the way.

Great experience!

Great experience! We learnt how to cook delicious Thai food and enjoyed eating it at the end. The chef (Dimi) and her helper (Foteini) were amazing!

Amazing cooking class experience!

Awesome experience of a cooking class! I went on a Saturday evening to the Thai cuisine. We were there from 6 to 9:30 cooking, learning and at the end we all sat and enjoyed an amazing dinner with all the plates that everybody cooked! The space is spotless clean and the chef extremely attentive and helpful. I really enjoyed it and I recommend it 100%!!!!

Nice class- but questionable recipes

I had a very fun time at this cooking class- the space is lovely- clean and well equipped. The instructors were nice, there was a great playlist to accompany our cooking, and the other participants were pleasant company. I have to say, however, that the food we cooked was pretty bad. It's a mystery why a vegan Greek cooking class would focus on recipes that are dairy forward (including a dessert with two separate dairy layers and moussaka), instead of recipes that are naturally vegan, like dolmas. I would have loved to make dolmas from scratch! Instead of learning how to make phyllo dough, which would have been useful, we made spanakopita with one layer of olive-oil based dough and cashew cheese. Nothing we made was delicious. That said, all three of the people in my party had a really good time.
