Miguel picked us up from the hotel on time and explained everything about Sintra and the surrounding area very clearly. It was a great booking!

Miguel, our driver, was prompt for our hotel pick up. His passion for his job showed through. His degree in history gave us a lot of background and made him a great storyteller. We enjoyed touring the outside of the Pena castle and grounds. We also had a nice dinner in Cascais and walked along the beach. If you have a Lisbon vacation, this is well worth taking half a day to see these two beautiful cities with Miguel.

Miguel was the perfect tour guide. He was knowledgeable and thoughtful. The tour is the perfect combination of guided and free time to explore.

Excellent half day tour, just enough to get a flavor of all stops, free time to wander at leisure and enjoy the locations with great photo opportunities. Guides were kind, friendly and informative - would highly recommend.

We enjoyed the tour immensely. Bruno was such a good guide. He showed us so much and was enjoyable to be with. The castle and the well were our favorites. Even in the rain, we had a fun time. Bruno let me use his umbrella after I forgot mine in the van.

Miguel gave us a nice tour of the palace & seaside village considering the conditions we were in cold and raining.

Great communications from Jamie our friendly guide and driver. We were kept informed of arrival time, picked up from our hotel. With his local knowledge and that this was a morning trip , we beat the rush of tourists arriving at Sintra. Peña and the other other buildings in the National park were just stunning, interesting and vast ( so you may consider a whole day to see more) For us it was enough to get a taste of the site and the surrounding area. Each place we stopped we were given enough time to have a walk around to explore. We ended our trip with a brief visit to Cascais which is a lovely town. Overall the trip was perfect for us, we were able to relax and enjoy our few hours, as our guide and driver Jamie was informative, prompt, knowledgeable and respectful - thank you for such a wonderful day

Had a great time visiting Sintra and Cascais. The weather didn’t cooperate when we were at Sintra, but still s great place to see. Fernando our guide was wonderful, attentive and informative. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Hugo met us on time at our port for our private tour and from the start we knew it was going to be a great day by his personality and enthusiasm for his country! We drove to Cascais and spent some time in this beautiful coastal town then he took us by Cabo da Roca on our way to Sintra and Pena Palace. All along the way, he explained what we were seeing and the how it related to the history of Portugal. Might sound dry to some but with Hugo's personality it was anything but! At Pena Palace, he toured with us and explained everything about it. His knowledge of his country and heritage is amazing and made for a wonderful visit. He timed the trip perfectly - we had the full experience without fear of missing our cruise ship! It was all so beautiful - I highly recommend this excursion! And, even more so, I recommend Hugo!
