I’m writing this review because I’m extremely pissed off with this experience. My friend and I booked the Colosseum tour for today, September 26, at 11:00 AM. We arrived at the meeting point at 10:30 AM, as instructed, but there was absolutely no blue flag to be found. We waited, looked around repeatedly, and even asked other tour guides if they knew where the meeting point was, but no one could help us. We also called the tour operator several times, but no one answered. Even after 11:00 AM, we stayed there and continued looking for the damn blue flag, but no one showed up and no one contacted us. This is completely unacceptable. We followed the instructions, arrived early, and made every effort to find the tour, but the tour operator simply did not show up or respond. I want a full refund for the tour.

We had a fabulous tour of the Rome Coliseum and Forum with Alba, one of the best guides I’ve ever had. Alba led her merry band of international travelers (from all over the world!) with energy and aplomb befitting an Emily in Paris episode. In fact, that’s what it felt like as she enthusiastically explained how and when the Coliseum had been built, how it had been plundered during the Middle Ages, how the Forum had been turned into a cow pasture after the fall of the Roman Empire, and a million other interesting and surprising insights. Would love to find her again on another tour!
Good service, the app was useful and gave us lots of information. Will however book myself if we go again.
We had a wonderful experience with our tour guide! He was very informative and patient, and took the time to explain everything clearly. He also kindly took pictures of us throughout the tour, which was such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend!
Don’t know why it is called guided and you pay $100 to have someone download an app on your phone and expect you to get much out of it. Poor advertising in my opinion
