We started on the tour and was advised that we would not be able to go inside because of an accidental death of a worker the day before. We were told we would get a discount on the tour. Our guide, Katarina, started with the outside of the Colosseum explaining the different features and telling us stories of the history. As we wrapped around to the far side, we were told the tour would be canceled and we would receive a full refund. Obviously, the closure of the Colosseum was out of the tour’s control, but Katrina seemed passionate about the subject matter and finished with the exterior of the Colosseum before ending the tour. It was disappointing to not enter the Colosseum, but we felt that we were presented with a great history lesson and the guide and tour company made the best of a bad situation.

Best of bad situation

Great tour.
We had a very interesting tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and answered any questions very well. We had ample opportunities to take pictures. Unfortunately due to a tragic accident at the Colosseum, it closed just prior to us entering, but she did a wonderful job explaining what was on the inside and used photographs to demonstrate what we were unable to see that day.

Great Tour with Georgia!
Great tour! Georgia was a fantastic guide and we learned a lot. Did a great job keeping us moving along. Our tour lasted about 3 hours and included the Colusseum, Palatine Hill, and the Forum - I definitely felt like I got my monies worth.

Rushed visit & overpriced
We had to arrive 15 min before but there was nobody. Some représentative came at 16:01, gave us printed tickets and gave suggestions how to do audio tour which was confusing and not really correct as some sides were closing early. We had to rush the visit to make sure we see everything.

Amazing !
Amazing to see in person a must’ve visiting Rome . Very crowded and a must to wear comfortable shoes and a hat . Minimum 3 hours to see all the exhibits.

ROME. Colloseum Tour
Location/tour start location was difficult to find. Information was not clear as we did not start at the colloseum. Better instructions would have helped. After standing in the rain and getting drenched we opted to skip this audio tour.
