So glad I booked this tour! Giorgio was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable about Rome, entertaining, and thoughtful. I only had a couple days in Rome and wanted to see as much as I could in a short time. I would highly recommend this tour!

Very knowledgeable guide and gave unique perspective of life in the colosseum and Palatine. Wish I had more time to explore.

A must do, we had a great tour guide, very passionate

First time visit to the Colosseum. We got there and the tour was very communicative where to start and wait. Once Andy showed up, we were on our way. Not only was the experience amazing (I mean, it’s the colloseum!) but Andy had us locked in with the history of the place and just a vast knowledge of info. He brought pictures to contrast to what it was like thousands of years ago and would occasionally mix in a joke here and there to keep us laughing and on our toes of what we were hearing. There was really no rush but he also provided an opportunity for people to leave when we headed to the forum. All around I am very happy with this tour, and I’ll go further and say it was the best one in our Italy trip. I highly recommend the tour if you want to know the rich history behind this monumental site. Consider yourself very lucky if you get Andy. This guy really upgraded the tour with his character.

Our guide Maria Luisa was outstanding. As a local, she was both knowledgeable and personal in how she led the tour, giving us an authentic cultural experience of Rome.

Giorgio Was amazing! He had none stop facts and always made sure we were in the shade when we didn’t need to be in direct heat, made sure we were all able and capable each step of the way! Would 100% recommend.

Disappointed by the repetitiveness of the tour and the guide's incorrect direction to wait for him and he never returned. Our tour started with just 6 of us and the guide. The tour included the arena floor. After that part, we went back outside so the guide could go find the rest of the group as their tour did not include the floor. He told us we could either wait here or go with him. If we wait, he would come back for us. 4 of us decided to wait. He never came back and we are now on the outside. We called the City Wonders and we told we should not have left the group. We explained over and over that we were told to wait and he would come back. When we finally joined the large group 30 minutes later – the guide took no responsibility for our being stuck outside for 30 minutes and denied he told us ok to wait for him. Well, 4 of us heard the same thing so it is not just one person misunderstanding. Not acceptable and it ruined the whole tour for us. After rejoining the now a large group - the guide just repeated everything we already heard. No new information. I was told a month prior to paying for this tour that the order would be Colosseum first, then Roman Forum and last Palatine Hill. (I still have that communication from City Wonders.) On the day of the tour the guide said the order would be Colosseum, and then Palatine Hill and Roman Forum last. We have some mobility issues so this order was important to us - which is why I asked before paying intending to possibly skip out on Palatine Hill due to it being the most hard on walking. After being disgusted at this point with the whole thing, we decided to just leave and skip the rest. I had looked forward to this tour out of everything else we booked in Rome and am very disappointed and will not use this company again.

The guided tour was excellent! Giorgio from City Wonders was an amazing guide—knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly engaging. He made the experience fun and interesting, and you could really tell how passionate he was about what he does. We learned so much and truly enjoyed every minute of the tour. Highly recommend both Giorgio and City Wonders!
