It was great to see Altamera and Matera however it would have been great if the tour included tour guide to explain to us or at least in the car can give us a background on each town before dropping us off. I would have taken the train and made it by myself cheaper

We would like to clarify that you purchased our basic low-cost tour option, which is designed mainly as transportation between the destinations with free time to explore independently. We always offer the possibility to add a professional guide at an extra cost, especially for Matera, and we strongly recommend it because of the historical importance of the city. This option was available but was declined. For this reason, we feel it is a bit unfair to complain afterward about the absence of a guide, since the guided service was optional and clearly offered before the tour. In any case, we are happy that you enjoyed visiting Altamura and Matera, and we truly appreciate your feedback.
This is a ride to Altamura and Matera, not a tour. When you get to the destination the driver points you in the right direction and tells you the pickup time. The published schedule was changed without notice. We ended up in Altamura after 2, when everything was closed.

Overall good trip, both towns well worth a visit. Good quality of transport. The viator description said snacks, water, and WiFi but there was none of that. The guide was very nice but we could have done with a few explanations for Matara on top of the brief written guide
Andres was friendly and spoke okay English, but other than the bus ride, he didn’t provide much to us. He did arrange a different guide, for additional cost, in Matera who was very good. There is A LOT of walking on the Matera portion of this tour with lots of stairs.
Good morning. As specified, the tour does not include a language-guided service; however, you can purchase one separately during the tour. Please note that Matera is an ancient village, so the paving is historic and uneven. The tour includes free time in both Matera and Altamura without a guide, allowing you to enjoy the cities in complete freedom. All of this is specified in the package details at the time of purchase
Tour offered WiFi, water and snacks and none of these were provided. As group was only 14 on the day they put us in smaller mini van with not as much room and air conditioning not very effective. Not sure why the tour lead Marco was there as little or no information provided.
This tour lived up to its description. Due to the rain in the morning, we went to Altamura first, then to Matera in the afternoon, and this turned out to be the best decision! We were able to enjoy the Sassi under a sunny sky and for a longer time, which was above our expectations. Shout out to Rafaele for his entertaining guidance and to Vito for his impeccable driving!

all good. all things in time and they gave us enough time to see everything. our guide Andres was perfect and very helpful to everything
