We saw many birds including flamingos. Our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about nature.

Wonderful boat trip (small-scale) through the estuary of the Tag. Seen many waders, black ibis, black-tailed godwit, black-tailed godwits, and flamingos. Very relaxed guide.

Extremely fun trip along the river seeing numerous birds and getting a great understanding of the geographical area from Carlos. While we didn’t all the birds we were expecting, the boat ride was very calm and it beautiful to see a different side of Lisbon not normally travelled.

It was a very enjoyable tour. The guide knows where to find the birds based on the tides and he knows all their names in English. The species you see will depend on the time of year and tides. For the best birding experience, you can contact the guide in advance to see when the tides will be most favorable.
