Zach conducted a very informative tour, I loved the pop culture references and got my steps in!

Great tour. Very informative and interesting. Our tour guide Luke was amazing.

Our guide provided interesting historical narrative to Gilded Mansion Era buildings that are open to the public but that we would not have been aware of without the tour. It would have been better if we had at least one actual private home

Great tour and guide. Difficult to find start point. Asked at info booth and police kiosk. No one knew where the meeting point was. Directions said there would be someone with a yellow flag. No yellow flag. Finally asked someone with a green sign and found out tour start point.

The trip operators was very helpful in rescheduling our July tour to September and it was worth the wait. Great experience with and our guide Zach was very knowledgeable and accommodating.

Matthew was so interesting! Couldn’t believe it when the 2 hours was over. Even told me other interesting things to see in the area when we were finished. Fascinating, even if you havent seen the show!

Luke was a fantastic story teller. Tons of historical information and made the gilded age come alive. Tour was a great pace and had a bathroom break, highly recommend!

What an amazing tour for any history lover To see and understand what was and what is left Matthew was outstanding, its a gift to be able to guide such a tour and he certainly does it with flying colours

We loved our tour. We learned a lot about that age and NYC. It is a walking tour so wear comfy shoes.

This tour is great for anyone, as our group can attest to: whether you're in it for the New York history, you love the HBO Series the Gilded Age, or your just an architecture buff, you'll enjoy this tour. It was a really great blend of the all three. Our guide, Luke, was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to connect the fictional lives we see on tv with the actual people that inspired them. The length was ~2 hours, but honestly it could have been so much longer if we didn't have to walk. My mom was left wanting to know and see so much more that she's going to buy a book about the time period. Our group was only about 9 people, so it was a good size and you were able to hear and see everything well. I saw some posts about how the guide relies on an iPad for a lot, and he does, but it provides a LOT of additional context about the people that built and lived in the buildings we viewed and I actually really liked seeing everything.
