NOT A TOUR!! This was called a deluxe tour and all it was was an overpriced overcrowded double decor bus ride. No history no guide. Maria was supposed to walk you to the heart of Florence since the bus parks 25 minutes away. She almost got us killed crossing the street on red while she was on her cell phone. After that we lost her as she had no flag as all other guides had. Awful. Save your money. This experience ruined the only day we had in Florence and Pisa from the port. Was also supposed to include entry to Pisa as I selected and it did not.

We had a really enjoyable day exploring Florence and Pisa during our cruise stop in Livorno. Traveling with the family, we wanted to see as much as possible without spending the whole day worrying about transportation or getting back to the ship on time. Everything worked out very smoothly. Florence was beautiful, especially walking around the cathedral area, Piazza della Signoria, and across Ponte Vecchio. There was so much to look at that we could have easily spent another day there. Later we continued to Pisa, and seeing the Leaning Tower in person was one of those moments the kids were especially excited about. We had enough time for photos and a little wandering around Piazza dei Miracoli. The transportation was comfortable, and the day felt well organized without being rushed every minute. For a family trying to experience two famous Italian cities in one cruise day, this was a really memorable experience.

As someone traveling independently on a cruise, I wanted to see Florence and Pisa but didn't want to spend the day figuring out connections between different towns. This turned out to be a very convenient option. Florence was fascinating, and I enjoyed seeing the cathedral and walking through the historic center at my own pace. Ponte Vecchio was particularly enjoyable, and I spent quite a while just watching the activity around the bridge and river. Piazza della Signoria was another favorite stop, with so much history and architecture concentrated in one place. After Florence, we continued to Pisa, where I finally saw the Leaning Tower in person. It was great having time to walk around the square and take photos without feeling completely rushed. The transportation was comfortable throughout the day, and the return timing was handled well. For a solo traveler with only one cruise day available, it was a straightforward and enjoyable way to see a lot of Tuscany.

My partner and I had been looking forward to seeing Florence for years, so we were really happy that this excursion allowed us to experience several of the city's famous sights during our cruise stop. We took plenty of photos but also made a point of putting the cameras away for a while and simply enjoying the places. It was a full day, but for us it was exactly the kind of sightseeing day we wanted from our cruise.

A group of friends and I chose this excursion because we wanted to see both Florence and Pisa during our cruise stop, rather than spending the entire day in just one place. The cathedral facade was even more impressive than expected. Photos really don't show how detailed and colorful it is. Pisa was a completely different experience and felt more relaxed. Piazza dei Miracoli is huge and gives you a great view of the Leaning Tower from different angles. We had enough time for photos and to walk around before heading back. The whole experience was organized without feeling overly formal, which suited our group perfectly.

We traveled with our children and weren't sure how they would feel about spending a full day sightseeing, but surprisingly they enjoyed almost every part of it. When we reached the cathedral, everyone was impressed by the amount of detail on the outside. It was one of those places where even the children stopped to look rather than immediately asking when we were leaving. But naturally, Pisa was the part they were most excited about. As soon as they saw the Leaning Tower, the photo ideas started! Piazza dei Miracoli gave us plenty of space to walk around and enjoy the sight. The combination of Florence's architecture and Pisa's famous tower made this a really memorable family day.

This was our first time visiting Florence, so we wanted enough guidance to understand the city but also wanted time to experience it together. The combination worked well for us. The guided portion gave us a good introduction to Florence and helped put the historic sights into context. Once the main tour was finished, we had free time to wander around together, take photos, find a quiet café, and enjoy the city without constantly following a schedule. Pisa was a completely different experience and made a nice second stop. Seeing the Leaning Tower in person was one of those simple travel moments that was worth doing, especially since we were already in the area. We also appreciated the practical side of the excursion. Pickup and drop-off were arranged from the cruise port, the vehicle was air-conditioned, and the timing was planned around getting back to the ship. Those details made the day feel much less stressful.

A group of friends can sometimes struggle to agree on how much sightseeing to do, so having a tour with organized transportation but some free time worked really well for us. We were picked up outside the cruise port and headed toward Florence without having to figure out trains, taxis, or parking. The guide in Florence gave us a useful introduction to the main sights and some background about the city. After that, having free time was probably our favorite part because we could wander, grab something to eat, take pictures, and browse a few shops without being with the group every minute. Pisa was much more of a quick sightseeing stop, which suited us because we mainly wanted to see the Leaning Tower and explore around the square. The vehicle was comfortable and air-conditioned, which made a difference during the longer drives. We also liked having customer support available if anything came up during the day. It felt like a good balance between having a schedule and still having some independence.

Our family had several different age groups traveling together, so finding an excursion that everyone could enjoy wasn't easy. We wanted sightseeing for the adults, but also enough flexibility so the younger members didn't feel like they were stuck on a nonstop history lesson. The Florence guide did a good job explaining the city and its history while keeping the visit moving. After the guided portion, the free time was very useful. Some of us explored more, while others found a place to sit and have a drink. Pisa was a fun change of pace. Naturally, everyone wanted the classic Leaning Tower photo, and we had enough time to walk around the area without feeling like we were there for only five minutes. The air conditioning in the vehicle was another small thing that made the day better. Most importantly, the timing was handled around our ship's departure, so we didn't have to organize our own way back. For a family group, that convenience was worth a lot.
