We absolutely loved our Happy Food Tour! The food was genuinely delicious, and we got to try a great variety of different dishes throughout the evening. What we especially loved was discovering very different parts of the city and, most importantly, some truly local places that we would never have found on our own. The guides/drivers were also amazing, super friendly and funny. They took the time to explain the dishes, their origins, and also share stories about the neighborhoods we were visiting, which made the experience even more interesting. It was a fantastic evening from start to finish. They absolutely deserve their excellent rating!

This tour was probably one of the best tours I ever took. And I mean it. First of all, the tour really takes you off the beaten tracks. Only great, non touristy stops. The guides were amazing. We had such a great time. They showed us around, gave us background info, were a great chat and of course the food was great. Seriously I cannot say a single bad thing. This tour was perfect. If you consider doing it, do it! Thank you!

My partner and I feel this is the BEST way to experience HCMC and create memories, so much so we have done 5 tours with Happy and his exceptional team. It's always professional and you are looked after the entire time. When the tour ends it's hard to say goodbye as you have made new friends. We will be back to do another tour knowing how perfect the experience will be.

We had an absolutely brilliant evening with Star and her crew of friends. The food was amazing but the real experience was zooming round Saigon’s crazy traffic on the back of a scooter and getting the inside track on the city from this delightful group of young people. I loved that we each had ‘our’ guide/driver to get to know throughout the evening. Highly recommended.

We would like to thank Saigon Happy tours for making our Vietnam trip so special. We organised multiple tours with Mei Mei and Happy and they were amazing to deal with, highly responsive and so helpful. We went on the Ninh Binh day tour from Hanoi, the Hue historic tour, the zero tourist Saigon food tour and the rustic Mekong tour. We absolutely loved them all, especially the Saigon food tour - the bike riding was so much fun and we got to explore all parts of the city. The Mekong was a truly memorable day out getting a real insight into the local community and off the beaten track. I have travelled to many places around the world and their tours are the best that I have ever been on. They truly stand out as they are not like typical tours - so you are not doing all the mainstream things. You feel like you are getting a real local experience rather than a standard tour. We are a family of four with 2 teenagers (17 and 15). Our guides Tom, Hoang, Star, Kurt, Snow, Kim and Leo were all fantastic - they were lovely, friendly engaging and knowledgeable. Our family likes to ask questions and talk a lot and they were all lovely people and so good with us. They made our trip really special and we highly recommend them. Absolutely brilliant company.

I literally made a trip advisor account to give this review and rate this a 5/5 experience! Pick up from my hostel was seamless, my driver Kim was super experienced and made me feel very comfortable for my first time on a motor bike, and the food was Incredible!! The spots were hyper local—literally had a meal in someone’s kitchen! This is such a good value and I highly recommend booking with Kim, Star, and OG if you can!

We had an amazing time on this food tour! Justin and Helen were awesome guides and were super thoughtful while riding around. The food was incredible and the knowledge of different areas and the history of Vietnam that the tour guides provided was incredible. Would recommend to anyone coming to HCMC!!

I genuinely felt like I got to experience little pockets of Saigon that I would never have stumbled upon on my own, and that made the whole evening super cool. Helen my guide , is a gem - kind, informative, and she has this really sincere, positive energy and made me feel super comfortable. The food was delicious, but I think my favourite part was the sense of discovery and all the stories that came with it. I’m really glad I went w this. Super fun would do it again! ❤️

Cannot rave about Star and Kim enough times!!! We got lucky and had them both all to ourselves for an evening food tour and it was nothing short of amazing and personal. They took us to places and had such great stories about all of them. We were lucky enough to be a small enough group to go to local businesses that operated out of their homes and everyone was so extremely welcoming. As a Vietnamese person who has been to the city most of my life, I still felt like this tour showed me so much. We are extremely appreciative of the personable experience Star and Lim gave!

“Dinner without tourists in Ho Chi Minh City”. Fantastic experience for the whole family2 Adults as well as a 18 year old and one on 11. We had 4 amazing young guides that made the day really special! Everyone was engaged and very eager to tell. They also showed great interest in hearing about our experiences and about our homeland. We visited the most amazing places in Ho Chi Minh City and tasted the most delicious local food. Communication with the company was very positive. We ordered through the app GetYourGuide and shortly after they wrote to via WhatsApp. After the tour ended, they wrote again as a follow-up to the tour and our experience. All in all a totally fantastic experience
