This was a lovely finish to a great day in Vienna. The church is breathtaking. The concert lasted about 75 minutes and started right on time. We purchased category 2 seats & were seated in the last row of the pews. This meant we could see the stage. There were folding chairs behind us (category 3?) and they probably couldn’t see the musicians. The musicians were very talented and enjoyed the event!
Luckily we got the FRONT ROW tickets....right in front of the dais and dead centre. Awesome spot! Just over 1 hr long, and only an ensemble of 9 musicians.
Bring seat cushions! And make sure to use the facilities BEFORE you attend because they have NO bathroom facilities (what does the congregation do?). The cathedral itself is gorgeous but was not a comfortable venue. The music was excellent and the lead violinist and head of the group was very talented and entertaining. Great experience for lovers of Vivaldi.
The concert was amazing. The whole string ensemble were very good. They definitely deserved d justice to Vivaldis music.
We liked the concert extremely well and especially the warm welcome from Nicole really rounded off the concert experience for us! We will be back!
This was one of my favorite experiences in Vienna. The Charles Church is gorgeous and the Vivaldi violin Concert in the church was exquisite

Fabulous setting very impressive, the lead Violinist was incredibly skilled and gave a tremendous performance, the ushers were very polite and helpful

Worst concert I’ve ever attended. I’ve never heard Vivaldi butchered this badly. Even the lead violinist missed notes, and the ensemble was neither in harmony nor in tune. It felt like a tourist trap. A complete waste of money and time.
