A bit of a slow tour
Beautiful and stunning palace and gardens. However, we felt the tour provided too much detail and stories. Our guide was very well versed on the history and the palace, but for us, it was too much and too slow.

Totally screwed with only a Polish tour guide and headset when you only speak English
Horrible experience as we paid for an English tour guide. and on the way to Auschwitz, we were told sorry, you have to have a Polish tour guide and only can use a Polish headset. Since we don’t speak Polish and only English, we were left to walk around Auschwitz with a group of six on our own with no tour guide. We asked for a refund and they told us it’s the responsibility of the local tour guide. Unfortunately, aviator, who we booked with took zero responsibility. Our best action is stop using Viator for our tours in the future.

Amazing experience. Well worth the tour. Martina is excellent providing insight about the palace. Lots of great photos from history. Very nice guide, highly recommend her!

Great tour
Terrific tour through the palace and grounds. Our guide was knowledgeable and offered a unique perspective on not just the palace but on the history of Vienna as well. It was unfortunate the Horse Jumping Event was set up directly in front of the palace as it definitely interfered with the atmosphere and generally navigating your way around.

Excellent tour of the palace. Our tour guide was very informative and kept the attention of the group.
This is the best way to experience the palace and insure you skip the lines! There is so much history of the Hapsburg family.

Disappointing Experience
Travelers should be informed when a major event is being held at the palace that blocks the entire front entrance, gardens and fountains! It was difficult finding the meeting place because the fountain was not visible due to the huge event. Our guide did a decent job inside the palace when we had earphones and could hear him. However, outside, he rushed ahead and only talked to the people at the front. It was difficult keeping pace and hearing.
