Alexander did a really nice job keeping everyone entertained during the long ride. hallstatt was definitely worth it. Beautiful town - would highly recommend this tour.
We had such a great time, the tour was amazing. We had a wonderful weather an that made everything better.
Our guide, Sofia, did a great job managing a completely full bus load of tourists! She kept the schedule running on time, and provided interesting information along the way. Thanks for a great day!
The Best thing about this tour was our guide, Alexander. He was humorous, informative, and did his best to make this all day trip fascinating. He was truly amazing. Unfortunately, the sites themselves were letdowns. We felt some of the stops were little more than tourist traps used to give our driver time to rest as required by law. Prices were high because they are visited by tourists. Hallstadtt itself was a letdown with many of the restaurants and stores closed when we were there. Frankly, I would not recommend the tour for the 13 hours it took and the cost. However, once again, our guide Alexander was the sole highlight of the tour. If he is available on any other tours, grab him !!
Quiet place. Nothing much to do. Nothing much eat.
Our trip was wonderful. Before the trip, I was nervous about doing this tour with a walker. But it turns out I had nothing to worry about. Our bus driver helped me with my walker, even helping me fix it. Our guide, Sofia, was very knowledge, friendly, and accommodating. I would highly recommend this tour to others, even those with limited mobility -- we greatly enjoyed our Hallstatt trip!
What a wonderful day trip to the stunning Alps and the utterly beautiful Hallstatt! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking — the kind of place that makes your camera work overtime. We were incredibly lucky to have Lydia as our guide for the day. She was knowledgeable, engaging, and full of fascinating facts, not just about Hallstatt but also about Vienna as we made our way into the Alps. Her enthusiasm made the journey fly by. A special mention also to our driver, who got us there and back safely and was every inch the professional throughout the day. Navigating those long alpine routes looked effortless in his hands, which made the journey all the more relaxing. What we especially appreciated was how well Lydia read the group. On the journey home, after a full and very long day (and as many of us were quietly snoozing!), she remained just as professional, delivering information thoughtfully and at just the right pace. This is truly an incredible part of the world to visit, and we would highly recommend this tour to anyone. A fantastic experience from start to finish!
Excellent tour! we enjoyed one of the most beautiful and stunning towns in Austria and in the world. Our tour guide Olga, was a great addition to the tour, very knowledgeable, and she guided us throughout the journey and up until the end offering advise and tips for our remaining stay in Vienna.
This trip was fabulous, Sophia was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide and was always available to answer any question. Hallstatt is a awesome, we had an excellent time on the trip.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the Hallstatt boat ride. Lily was our guide and she was fantastic as a detailed guide.
