While I was staying in Shanghai, I joined this gorgeous tour to go to Nanjing. Sunny, who is the manager of the travel agency in Shanghai, gave me helpful information several times through email. I was hoping to go to Nanjing for a long time because I knew Nanjing was a historical city and a thriving city. I praise the guide, Denise, and the driver, Charles, very much. Denise has an enormous knowledge about the history and culture and society of Nanjing, and she has a good personality, is a lively and very friendly person. Charles, whose personality is cheerful and very friendly and kind. I was surprised that his English is natural, like a native English speaker. I couldn't enjoy this I Nanjing tour without them.

Visiting Nanjing on a day trip from Shanghai with Sunny Tours was one of the highlights of our trip to China. We were picked up from our hotel in Shanghai, taken to the station, and helped onto the train by our driver, Charlie. At the other end we were met by our guide, Eleven. We were very glad of this assistance as the station was extremely busy, especially early in the morning. In Nanjing we visited the Nanjing City Walls, Zhongshan Mountain National Park, and the Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall. We also stopped for lunch at a beautiful local restaurant and enjoyed some excellent food. Eleven was incredibly knowledgeable and brought each place to life with detailed explanations and historical context that we wouldn’t have fully understood on our own. What made the experience even better was Eleven’s friendly and engaging style. We were able to ask lots of questions and the tour never felt rushed. It truly felt like exploring the history of Nanjing with a passionate local expert. I would highly recommend Sunny Tours to anyone wanting to visit Nanjing and gain a deeper understanding of the city’s history and culture. During our stay in China we completed three different tours from Shanghai with Sunny Tours, and all were consistently excellent — great communication after booking, quality vehicles and knowledgeable, engaging guides.

Thanks. In terms of planning this tour for the future - Think about this way. I paid 475 US dollars. Entrance Tickets for sites were not included, lunch was not included - So for only getting a tour guide and transport to and from Nanjing this became a rather expensive “guided transportation service”. Everyone was professional and efficient- I give them that. The tour guide Betty ( Pei ) was very knowledgeable and pleasant and I rate her very highly. From a value for money perspective though when compared to other tours where I paid about the same rate e.g to Zhangjiajie, this is not good value for money.

My tour guide was Eleven and she was fantastic! So knowledgeable and flexible and showed me the best sites.

Great tour, very smooth experience with an exceptional tour guide. The day was tailored around what I wanted to see and I learned so much!
