Our group was looking for an excursion that would maximize our time in Tuscany while remaining easy to manage. This tour delivered exactly that. The transportation was comfortable, and the guide kept the group organized throughout the day. Florence provided plenty of opportunities to explore, shop, and enjoy local food. We especially appreciated having enough free time to create our own experience. The stop in Pisa was shorter but still worthwhile. The Leaning Tower was impressive, and the entire area made for excellent photographs. We returned to the ship feeling that we had made the most of our day.
Very useful information for the first day in Florence. The guide is a very charming person who always tried to keep the atmosphere bright and friendly.

The centers of Florence and Pisa are pedestrian areas and can only be explored on foot. I was traveling on a cruise related to a work conference and had limited time available to explore. This excursion made it possible to visit two iconic cities in a single day without worrying about logistics. The transportation was efficient, and the guide kept everyone informed about the schedule. Florence offered an excellent introduction to Tuscany's culture and history, while Pisa provided the opportunity to see one of Italy's most recognizable landmarks. Everything operated smoothly, and the timing worked perfectly with our ship schedule. It was a practical and enjoyable way to spend a day ashore.
This tour was over booked on a tiny bus. The tour guide had to sit on the floor. Five adults were packed in the tiny back seat. The trip was miserable. The guide and driver were very nice and very apologetic. We were gone 10 hours. We had 1 hour 20 minutes in Florence and 25 minutes in Pisa. We were required to walk 3-4 miles to get into the city and then out. The tour should indicate this in the description. It all made for an exhausting, distressing day. I would not recommend this tour to anyone.

That is correct: Florence is located approximately a couple of hours drive from the cruise port, and tourist transport is not permitted to enter the historical city centre. For this reason, walking is required during the tour. The same applies to Pisa. Guests with limited walking ability, such as yourself, may wish to consider alternative arrangements, such as taxis where available, or private tours offering greater flexibility. Please note that the “Additional Information” section of the tour description clearly states that this tour is not wheelchair accessible and is not recommended for guests with limited walking ability. 2. The person who was sitting on the fold-out crew seat, designed by German Setra bus engineers, and whom you referred to as a guide, was actually our tour coordinator taking his usual seat. 3. Guide services are not provided during port transfers. The guide joins the group in Florence, in full accordance with the tour description and inclusions. When booking with Viator in the future, we strongly recommend basing your expectations on the tour description, itinerary, and inclusions rather than on personal assumptions. Safe travels
We did not get off to a good start as some travelers were late or just didnt show. Our 8:30 start was after 9:00. The guide was nice but did not communicate great. A lot of just follow me. We went to Pisa first, where we had about an hour of free time, which was just about right. We then drove to Florence. Traffic was terrible both ways so be ready to sit in the bus for a while. The big confusion was on drop off. While the tour confirmation said same as pick up, the tour guide said they would take us back to our ship. We still had 5 hours left at shore and didnt want to go to the ship. Eventually worked it out but make sure you get clear information. The time in Florence was perfect but be ready ti walk. It is about 30 minutes from the bus to the downtown area. Once you are there you will walk even more to see everything. The sights were amazing and we had enough time to eat and walk around.

It was a little shaky finding each other at the cruise terminal, but once we did everything was great. The tour guide at Pompeii was very knowledgeable, the tour was very comprehensive. The wine tasting and lunch was exceptional in a very authentic and scenic venue. All in all a very enjoyable experience.
Very beautiful tour w plenty of free time. I only wish it included tickets for Cathedral at Florence. My only wish. It was good overall view of Florence. Be prepared to walk though. No stairs but yes walking.
Great experience however long walks to and from both Florence and Piza from drop off points. Be prepared for long walks.
Loved our tour guide Alessandro and his ‘horse’ Fulio! Great day! Comfortable bus to get us where we need to go, even with usb charging ports at the seats and WiFi!
