We booked a private tour of Athens which included a city tour by car and a walking tour of the Acropolis (which included skipping the line tickets) with a local guide, Vicky. Vicky was wonderful! She was very knowledgeable pointing out places of interest along with the history and/or significance. She was wonderful in guiding us through the crowds at the Acropolis stopping at each structure to tell us the history and to answer any of our questions. I highly recommend a local guide like Vicky to tour through the Acropolis not only to navigate through the crowds but to truly understand the significance of what you are seeing. Our driver was great too, and accommodating. One member of our group already saw the Acropolis on a previous trip, so he dropped her off at a museum (of her choice) and at the end of our tour, dropped us off at our Vrbo which was a few blocks from the Acropolis. The Travel Insiders was very easy to work with and promptly answered all my questions. We also booked another tour with them of Ancient Olympia. I highly recommend using The Travel Insiders when booking your Greek tours.

What a great day! The tour guide really knew her history, and took her time explaining everything. There were just four of us on this tour, which really allowed us to have personal attention and care. Highly recommend this tour, and Travel Insiders.
