It was the perfect end to our vacation. To see the play under the Acropolis and Parthenon lit up was breathtaking! Read the description carefully: no elevator and it’s an open air theatre not an amphitheater. We were not disappointed in any way. Actors were fabulous!

I went to see this with my 17 year old daughter. The actors were very funny and did a amazing job portraying their characters while keeping the mood light even when the story was a tragedy. We arr so glad we went and highly recommend this. The backdrop was also amazing. The icing on the top was they offered white and rise wine, juice and bottled water at no charge and the night was a little cool and they walked around providing blankets to the audience. If you are considering this dont hesitate it is worth it plus the vibrant streets of Plaka come alive at night and this is right in the heart of it.
It was a fun and entertaining experience. I recommend this highly for something fun and to get a Greek experience that is a little different from the usual touring activities.
Such a funny, enjoyable night! Beautiful backdrop with the acropolis lit up in the background. The performance was well done, funny and very entertaining.

At the first level towards the top of the acropolis tour guide went away in front of us and my friend and I had canes. She wanted to stop a little, not knowing that there were ramps going forward and we thought it was just going up for three minutes and coming down so we got someone’s attention to get the tour guide letting her know we were waiting there. She made a face, but we didn’t understand why when an hour later they finally returned and we realized that we had missed the whole thing we were not made aware that there were nine or 10 different areas to visit as you arrive to the top. This is why I spent, and my friend spent extra money to come strictly to see the Acropolis and we have not seen it. I believe the tour guide should’ve been more forthcoming and as we told her we were going to be waiting in that spot when they came down, she walked right by us, and if it wasn’t for another member of the tour group yelling at us and grabbing us to take our attention so we wouldn’t get left we still be standing there in the freezing cold. I feel we should get a refund. I know it’s late, but I would like to take that tour again if we have time tomorrow, I’m really like to get it quick response and it will help me decide whether I take any of my tours in the three countries were going to next.
Wonderful presentation. Actors did a great job of showing us a ancient Greek Tragedy with humor. Could not be more lovely being open air with the backdrop of Acropolis! Top tier things to do in Athens. Pls brought us to a lovely part of town we had missed.
