Amazing excursion to watch the sun rise, with lots of bonus stop offs. Hugo was amazing, knowledgeable and so helpful, he rearranged the trip to another day just to make sure we got the best weather and views possible. This was the highlight of our trip to Madeira.

Our sunrise experience was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience and one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Madeira. Watching the sun rise above the clouds was breathtaking and something we will never forget. A huge part of what made the experience so special was our tour guide, Hugo. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. He shared interesting information along the way, kept everyone engaged, and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire tour. In addition to the sunrise, we loved stopping at the other viewpoints throughout the tour. Each one offered incredible scenery and gave us the opportunity to experience different parts of Madeira that we may not have otherwise seen. Everything was very well organized, and Hugo’s positive attitude and enthusiasm made an already amazing experience even better. If you’re visiting Madeira, we cannot recommend this experience enough. Waking up early was 100% worth it, and it’s something everyone should experience at least once. It truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and created memories that we will cherish forever. Thank you, Hugo, for helping make this such an unforgettable experience. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Madeira!

We had an amazing time on this tour! Getting to see sunrise in such a special place in addition to all the other scenic places and even a coffee stop. Amazing!!

This was a great experience. Hugo our guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Small group tour (4) got to see some great trails and look out points on the island. Not rushed and easy pace. Definitely recommend. Check weather some clouds on top of the mountain and dress warm this cold up there.

Hugo provided a very friendly service, and we were impressed by the depth of his knowledge and the variety offered in the tour. Likewise, he provided several suggestions for the rest of our holiday. Highly recommend for those looking to explore the island’s highlands!

Fantastic experience. Hugo keeps the groups small and has the local knowledge to beat the queues and recommend the best spot for great photos. We captured some amazing shots without the crowds. The Balcones lavada walk was a lovely contrast in the forest ending in another spectacular view. And the final stop of a clifftop viewpoint did not disappoint. I highly recommend this tour.

The view of the top was splendid but our hopes of viewing a spectular sunrise did not materialise as the weather didn't co-operate. It was windy with fast moving dark moist clouds allowing only brief glimpses of the colours of the dawn. We were fortunate to witness a couple being married when the clouds lifted a bit to allow views of the surrounding area. The remainder of the trip along the coast was through lovely scenery and bright sunshine which more that made up for the earlier disappointment. Our driver, Hugo, was excellent and his knowledge, commentary and concern for the group was excellent. The stops were perfectly planned to allow us glimpses of the natural beauty of Madeira and refresh ourselves to be ready for the next stop. We booked two further tours as we were so impressed by the experience.

Such an amazing experience! Hugo made it so easy and seamless! He picked us up from our hotel and took us to a great spot to start our hike. When we got back, he took us on another little tour around the island and provided amazing suggestions for things to do around Madeira! We really appreciated his tour because we had booked another, which cancelled on us because of “bad weather,” which we found out was really because he overbooked so Hugo is reliable, trustworthy and extremely communicative, which I appreciate!

An unforgettable experience! Watching the sunrise at Pico do Arieiro was absolutely magical, and our guide Hugo made it truly special. He’s a local with deep knowledge about Madeira’s nature, history, and culture, and he shared so many interesting facts and stories. After sunrise, he took us to two breathtaking viewpoints, making the morning feel like a complete adventure. Hugo was warm, friendly, and wonderful with my children, which made the tour even more enjoyable. This was without a doubt one of the highlights of our holiday – highly recommended!

Hugo is the best tourguide on Madeira. He has big knowlege of the island and he is very friendly. Everything went smooth, I can only recommend to do this tour
