Everything was amazing but I especially liked feeding the giraffes. It cost extra after we arrived and the experience was short but it was worth it.

Nice view of harbor. Good variety of animals in semi-natural habitat. The animals native to Australia are spectacular.

Lovely zoo. You get to hang with the emus, wallaby’s and kangaroos. The seals were wildly entertaining. Ferry ride had gorgeous views of the harbor.

Great ferry cruise to Taronga zoo but waiting for the bus was a bit of issue. Waiting time took a long time to arrive to the zoo might be a let down.

Beautifully situated zoo and well thought out route around to see all the animals. Ferry across from Circular Quay was quick and docked a 3 min walk from the lower zoo entrance. There is also a bus service available for a 10 min transport up to the main entrance if that is preferable, but I can't really see why that is needed. We wandered around and saw everything, stopping also for a coffee, and can recommend allocating 2-3 hours for this visit, perhaps more if you have children as there is lots to hold their attention. Overall a recommended visit if you are in Sydney and looking for things to do.

Cool to see the animals although we went on a hot day and most were hiding or sleeping. Highly recommend going early and when it is cooler

Gorgeous zoo with up close viewing habitats. Animals very active. Loved the seal show. Bird show over rated and only 3 birds to see flying around. Friendly staff and volunteers.

Excellent trip to Taronga Zoo. The Captain Cook ferry was very clean and right on time. The zoo was very impressive and enjoyable. We are not huge fans of zoos but we really appreciated Taronga’s commitment to conservation, education, and stewardship. The animals are treated well and given plenty of space. Food for humans is adequate ;-)

Super easy on and off at the ferry, beautiful views of the bridge and opera house. The zoo was amazing, spent the whole day there. There are various animal encounters you can donate to and see animals up close: koalas, dingos, giraffes, just to name a few. I definitely recommend this experience. Exceeded all expectations.

I had a really great day at Taronga Zoo and enjoyed every minute of it. The zoo is beautiful, very well kept, and has such a great setting overlooking Sydney Harbour. There’s plenty to see, and it’s a lovely place to spend a few hours just walking around and enjoying the animals and the views. The ferry ride from Sydney was a great part of the experience too. It was easy to find and very convenient, and the views of the harbour along the way were fantastic. It’s a nice way to arrive at the zoo rather than just taking a car or bus. The staff and volunteers were very friendly and helpful, and the map made it easy to find our way around. One tip: take the bus up after getting off the ferry, especially if you don’t want to walk up the steep hill. Then you can enjoy a much easier walk back down through the zoo. Overall, it was a very enjoyable and memorable day, with the zoo, the animals, and the beautiful Sydney Harbour views all in one experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Sydney, especially families and anyone who enjoys nature and wildlife. Absolutely worth doing!
