It was easy to use! We enjoyed being about to see everything and they provided headphones to listen to all the history.

It was the best and easiest way to see the city and its landmarks. We went on the whole circuit which is about 1h and 20 mn. We then hopped on and off to visit all the points of interest.

We bought the Hop On Hop Off bus tickets online through Viator (i.e. TripAdvisor). When we tried to get on the bus, the lady said that she needed to see "the receipt" - which I showed her and she also took a photo of it with her phone. She then insisted that the tickets weren't valid but wouldn't say why. We got on the bus despite her protestations and the driver scanned the QR code on the Viator voucher which then promptly generated the tickets valid for two days that we had paid for. The whole business left a nasty taste in the mouth. Was the hop on hop off woman hoping we would pay a second time? How often do people give in and pay again I wonder. As for the bus route, there is little to see throughout most of the trip other than the temple at Knossos.

Bus goes to the main attractions. Plenty of chairs. The top roof is the best Highly recommended for all ages

The best way to visit the city. We went around the whole route and then selected the appropriate stops. All pickup points are well marked.

Didn’t know you can use any of the different color buses. We thought we could only use the red bus. There was a yellow bus at one at the stops and we let it go by. The next bus that came, the driver told us to get on that’s how we knew we could take any color bus. The ride was a good spin around that gave us a good comfortable overview

The folks at each stop are very helpful. It takes you to great sites. There is audio narration on board but the drivers don't make any effort to remind passengers to use it. The wait at the cruise ship terminal can be very long if there are a lot of ships in port.

Typical HOHO. It’s a great was to get an overview of the city. So glad we did this. Such a beautiful city.

George was a lovely instructor and the tour was comprehensive. Lovely experience all around; highly recommend.

Quite boring and dull. There's not much commentary because there's not that much to see in Heraklion. We got off at Knossos where half of our party went into the venue. Unfortunately they thought that was also a waste of time and money. There rest of the trip was really no different to our local bus trip into the town. No more than a bus ride......
