This day was everything we hoped for and more. We were picked up in the morning and got back around 6pm. Our guide was Raphaelle and she made us feel like we were living in the moments of DDay. From the minute she picked us up we were learning and on a much deeper level. There was no question that she did not have the answer to and she is captivating in her storytelling. The Jeep tour was great and gave us an up close view of the local town and the hedgerows. Then back w Raphaelle we went to the beaches and bunkers and back roads and churches and cemetery - it was incredible. This young woman is a firecracker and will make sure you have the opportunity to see it all but in a very organized and comfortable way. She clearly loves what she does and (while I’m sure they are all fantastic) we are so grateful she was our guide. We will never forget this day or Raphaelle!

My husband and I along with two couples and long time friends, had the most amazing all day tour of the Normandy l'angine, with trips to the Utah and Utah beaches. Raphaëlle was are guide for the day, and she was truly exceptional. Her passion for the subject matter and vast knowledge made the story come alive for all of us despite our thinking that we knew much about this event. Raphaëlle is a True expert and covered so many different facets leading up to D-Day and beyond to liberation. Included in our tour was a jeep tour Led by Alex and JD, which further enhanced the day with various stories about the attacks from the Air and the difficulties the troops faced as they did battle amongst the hedgerows. We could not imagine how are day could have been better, so thanks to all at Normandy Discovery Tours, and in particular to Raphaëlle!

We did a full day tour with our wonderful guide Raphaelle. There were 7 of us including 3 kids and she adapted the material for them to understand what they were seeing while still engaging the adults with her vast knowledge. We were so impressed by everything in this tour - Raphaelle was prompt, picked us up right at our hotel door, came with waters and a pristine van complete with car seats ready for the kids (a rare find for a tour like this), whisked us away to all the major sites, arranged lunch and our kids absolutely loved the jeep tour portion. I could not imagine exploring d-day with kids any other way and highly highly recommend Normandy Discovery Tours especially if you have young kids. Extremely accommodating and wonderfully engaging. Thank you Raphaelle again!! We will sing your praises!

Great experience! Highly recommend - we did a lot in one day. Got picked up at our hotel in Bayeaux, visited Omaha, Utah, American cemetery and drove around little villages as we reflected on what life may have been like.

It is a full day of all the most important sites on the area! The guide, Noé was excellent! He was so enthusiastic and told many interesting stories! He was so kind when I left my phone on the back of the van. He waited for us at an exit until we were able to reach him. This was after a very long day for him. Thank you!! The jeep ride was a lot of fun and a very different experience. The driver’s were personable and knowledgeable!! Highly try the tour!!

This is an absolute must do. We had a private guide in our jeep (family of 5) and he was so wonderful. Took us to all the sites, spent the whole day with us, teaching us and showing us so many amazing details and facts. You could tell this was his passion and it showed in the way he does the tour. This day was a highlight in our 10 day trip abroad. Highly recommend.

We had a great time with Raphaelle. The tour was fantastic and very informative! I'd add that I was concerned the jeep portion would be kitschy but it wasn't at all. Instead it allowed us to see areas we wouldn't have been able to otherwise and to really get a feel for the environment. Would highly recommend!

Yes, every penny! I have never has such a fact filled, interesting, and overall satisfying experience. Your knowledge and presentations were interesting, informative, as all three of you (Noe, Tom, and Flavie) were absolutely fantastic and not sure anyone could have accommodated us any better. We apologize for the interrupting wth our many question and thank you for you kind patience when we did. The Jeep experience was incredible and exceeded our expectations.
