This was our second tour in Istanbul with Ozgur, and our first food tour. Wow! What a great experience... my husband and I both love to experience the food culture in different countries and Turkish food is so varied, tasty, with such rich and complex flavours - well we had a fabulous day! Ozgur customized the tour to take account of the fact that I wanted to eat some fish (along with everything else haha), took account of my husband's allergy and all-in-all we had a most delicious day and learned about some new dishes I'm going to try to recreate at home. Thanks Ozgur!

This Istanbul food tour was a highlight of my trip. Ozgur was a fantastic guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and made everything feel effortless. The food was incredible, especially the lamb kabob (easily the best I’ve ever had). Highly recommend if you want to taste the real Istanbul

Started our stay in Istanbul with this private tour. Very good way to have a good overview of Turkish delicious food and feeling of the city. Our guide was very kind and even helped us to plan our next days. Would definitely recommend !

We so enjoyed our exceptional day and food tour with Ozzie in July 2024 - in fact it was the highlight of our 3 week trip to Greece and Turkey. The food was absolutely awesome, sampled at 6 local gems, frequented by the locals, and dotted around Istanbul. We caught ferries, trams ,walked a great deal and touched on 2 continents ( Asia and Europe). We were hugely impressed with Ozzie’s knowledge on Turkiye and his command of the English language. We cannot recommend Ozzie enough - he is an absolute must on your travels of Istanbul. Thank you Ozzie!!!

While the large quantity of very good food wa great our guide, Kube, was the star. We had so much fun and laughed a lot. Have coffee for breakfast as you will be eating the remainder of the day. A little shopping here and there, but this experience is for your taste buds. It was also nice to spend time and eat on the Asia side of Istanbul via the ferry with great pics of Old City from the Bosphorus. Highly recommend this tour

I can’t praise “Oz” highly enough. Not only did we enjoy some amazing Turkish dishes we also got to hear stories about Oz’s experiences growing up in Istanbul and how the foods we were eating fit into the lives of everyday Turks. Oz was so experienced that he was able to get us to try new dishes and provide us with experiences we never would have had on our own! We only had the weekend in Istanbul and had a mediocre private tour of the big Mosques and Topkapi the day before. This tour more than made up for our so-so tour the day before. Oz even helped us to see a few more sites on our own!

The tour was a great experience. Enjoyed every minute of it and learnt a lot about the history of Istanbul

Ondie was a fantastic guide. He provided an authentic introductory to the culinary delights of Istanbul, both European and Asian side. He managed to incorporate plenty of information around the modern day and historical Turkish people lifestyles. Highly Recommend! Well worth the time and money.

Day full of discovery and lots of nice little moments, warm and immersive places. Special mention to the guide Özgür who knew how to share with us this gastronomic culture with professionalism while being warm and friendly.

Food tours are an amazing way to experience the culture of the area, we have done several “food tours” and this one was fabulous. Ozgur was a great guide who took us to some wonderful places throughout the city, educated us on the flavors and traditions of Istanbul and showed us the beautiful city with an inside perspective. Would definitely recommend Ozgur as a tour guide; he will take great care of you and will enhance your travel experience. Two thumbs up, Thank you Ozgur!!
