Our flight home was unexpectedly cancelled, leaving us with an extra day in Athens. We decided to make the most of it by hiring LS Tours for a private tour—and it turned into one of the absolute highlights of our entire trip! Christos gave us an epic day exploring Athens and the surrounding coast. From the very beginning, it felt less like a traditional tour and more like having a local friend show us all the best places in his city. We visited an incredible overlook of Athens, watched the Changing of the Guard, saw the beautiful Athenian Trilogy, Olympic Stadium and Temple of Zeus, explored the Acropolis, and made quick stops at scenic overlooks and other beautiful spots for photos along the way. One of the biggest surprises was lunch. Christos took us to a wonderful family-owned seafood restaurant that we never would have discovered on our own, and we were served some of the best seafood we have ever eaten. It was exactly the kind of authentic local experience we were hoping for. We finished our day at the Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion for sunset, which was absolutely spectacular and the perfect ending to an unforgettable day. Christos was professional, warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating throughout the entire tour. He shared local tips and recommendations, never made us feel rushed, and genuinely seemed to want us to experience the very best of Athens. His spotless, comfortable vehicle and smooth driving made it easy to relax and enjoy the day. What started as the disappointment of a cancelled flight turned into one of our favorite memories from Greece. If you want to experience Athens beyond the typical tour and feel like you’re seeing the city with a local friend, ask for Christos at LS Tours. We cannot recommend him highly enough!

Our private tour with LS Tours of the Athens highlights and Cape Sounio was fantastic. The pickup experience was great, accommodating our location change at the last minute. Nikos did a great job showing us around Athens and was very knowledgeable and engaging. After Athens we enjoyed a beautiful drive along the coastline to Cape Sounio and the Temple of Poseidon. Nikos recommended a small ocean-side Taverna on the way. The fresh fish and meal were incredible!

Absolutely loved this tour! It's a great introduction to Athens. Alex, my guide, did a wonderful job to ensure I had the best of time in Athens. We visited many sites and had ample time at all of them. He made sure I was comfortable at all times and took my opinions regarding sites to visit on board as well. He was quick to find solurions, had a lot to share and was very knowledgable. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations, especially about the Greek alphabet! Everything was well organized and planned out. Highly recommend this tour to everyone!

We had an excellent day out with a fantastic driver that made sure were back in plenty of time to the ship. We saw the Acropolis, the city including the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and Olympic Stadium. He brought us to a local Gyro place in Athens. We were very happy.

Nicos was wonderful! He made sure we were in time to see the changing of the guards at Parliament and took us a great restaurant for lunch. He was on time to pick us at the cruise port and gave us plenty of time to see all the sites. Thank you!
