Kostas (Κώστα) provided a memorable tour to The Temple of Poseidon pointing out key points along the way the Athenian Riveria with a stop at a lovely hot spring swimming club. Kostas’ passion for sharing his love of his Greek heritage, history, culture, and especially language was so enjoyable—along with his own love of travel. He even gave us thoughtful memento of our time together that highlighted the Greek Mythology Family Tree. The location of the temple and preservation is impressive surrounded by stunning views of the sea. We capped off our evening with a memorable casual dinner at a seaside taverna owned by four brothers. The hospitality was excellent and fresh seafood was delicious. Highly recommend!

Sunset visit to Cape Sounio
We booked our tour directly with My Athens Transfers and the booking process was super easy. Our guide Notis was extremely knowledgeable about Greek and world history and we got to learn a lot from him during our beautiful drive to Cape Sounio. We truly enjoyed our trip and highly recommend visiting Cape Sounio with My Athens Transfers and please ask for Notis!

The trip to Cape Sunio...
The trip to Cape Sunio was a nice break from exploring downtown Athens. We booked a 6:00 start and arrived at the perfect time to explore the area for a hour and then relax and see the sunset over the water. The drive to Sunio was beautiful along the coast and allowed us to see more of the area. So glad we booked a driver in a comfortable and clean van that easily fit our family of 4 rather than rent a car.
Our driver George was a highlight! He was an excellent driver and had so much knowledge of the area and history of Greece. We enjoyed the conversation over the course of the drive. It was the perfect end to our Greece vacation.

Cape Sounio Private tour.
Menelaus was a phenomenal tour guide. He took his time with us and helped us understand what we were seeing. I highly reccomend booking with him.

Just do it!
Fantastic trip. Our driver was knowledgeable putting out things and giving information as we drove the 1 1/2 hours from the port to the temple. Be sure to arrive before sunset as the views are spectacular. Be forewarned that it gets cold and windy very quickly at sunset. We traveled 4/28.
We opted for the Greek dinner. The owner was friendly and the food good. You had your choice of any items on the menu plus beer or wine.
This trip was our one splurge and worth it.

GREAT TOUR!!!
Our tour guide, George, was absolutely incredible. He was so knowledgeable about the history of the entire country — from ancient times all the way through modern day. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with him all the way up to Poseidon. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better guide!

Drive to Sounion
Great trip to Sounion. We very much enjoyed the company of Mike who was a very entertaining and competent driver. We loved his sense of humor and knowledge and his good stories. He offered us a good suggestion for a meal on the way as well. We highly recommend him.

Cape Sounio
This was great. Nick was a great guide. The car was a comfortable Mercedes van. We loved Cape Sounio - it was a stunning place to visit. And we opted for lunch on our way home, which was a delicious seafood meal on the water.
