What an unexpected delight! We booked last minute and are so glad we did. If you are looking for an authentic French baking experience, look no further. Both the chef and our translator were fantastic. We got to make croissants, pain au chocolat, and different kinds of baguette while learning about the history of bread and French food. Our lovely translator also took plenty of photos for us so the entire experience was documented. We got to each leave with a loaf of bread. Pro tip: find a great cheese shop so you can picnic with your amazing bread afterwards.

Wonderful experience with an expert baker. We enjoyed our time in this Paris bakery. The product was delicious and the interpreter was lovely as well.

If you want a break from the packed monument and museum schedule this will definitely be a worthwhile activity. Didier (master baker) and Luz (translator) were fun and friendly. Didier shares his passion for baking and doing things well. He makes his own flour on site milling the grain eliminating the use of multiple additives. We made baguettes and croissants, learned a few tricks to try back at home.

I think it would be helpful to know that by far the majority of the time is spent on baguettes. Not a criticism, just as information. You won't learn to make croissants in this class but will learn how they are made and get to roll some. The bread part is very hands on and has a lot of information coming very quickly. The baker is masterful, and just watching him closeup is educational. I also think a little home baking experience would make it much more valuable.

Can't recommend this enough, we had a very nice afternoon in the bakery and everything felt so familial. The baker was very eager to look into my baking experience and help me achieve better results. We were shown how he makes his products, and we were able to try it ourselves. The translator was very nice as well and we could understand and communicate well.

The class is taught by the most passionate baker who prepares his bread and patisserie items expertly and with love. He uses the finest of ingredients and shares his experience with flours. A delightful afternoon and highly recommend.
