Pleasant ride thru countryside. Not much info along the way. Somewhat difficult to understand guide’s accent and volume. Recommend headsets for clarity and due to crowd noise.

This was an excellent tour of a very scenic and spectacular UNESCO site. Our guide Élise had extensive knowledge and was attentive to our safety on many flights of stairs. One of our party lost an item and she went beyond the call of duty to locate it in a restaurant the following day and personally return it to us. An excellent experience

Wonderful tour with Adrian. He was very knowledgeable, and shared insights all through the tour. We particularly enjoyed his informative and pleasant manner. We recommend to friends.

Gwen, our tour guide for the day, was very knowledgeable and engaging throughout the entire tour of Mont Sainte Michel. He covered the extensive history of the Island and Abbey, and provided several interesting anecdotes about Normandy and WWII.

The guide was very knowledgeable - able to answer any questions. Glad I had a guide to show us around rather than wandering around not learning the history. Although the guide spoke excellent English, she was still a bit hard to understand. I would ask her to slow her speech down a little if I had her again as a guide.

What a day! We were picked up at our hotel in Bayeaux in a comfortable transport van, 6 people total. The driver/guide was prompt and provided information about various topics while on the way. Once we got to the Abbey, it was spectacular. The guide provided a good amount of interesting information, and then guided around the entire location. The Abbey and its history are amazing and all of us were in awe with how it was built, the views, the history, and the beauty. At the end we were given about two hours just to explore. I highly recommend this tour as it was just fantastic. It was a long day, the drive was about an hour and a half, but was worth every minute.

The tour guide was excellent and provided a lot of information. I loved the small group experience and traveling the minivan rather than a big tour bus. You learn so much more on a tour rather than visiting individually. The town was very cute also.

Two of us recently made a private tour to Mont St. Michel (MSM) on a Viator tour. Our van left from Bayeux France. It was approximately a 2 hour drive to MSM. Our guide, and driver, was a gracious young woman named Elise. Elise was engaging with a pleasant sense of humor. We really enjoyed her as a guide. Mont St Michel was very interesting and Elise was able to describe both its history and architecture. The guided portion of the tour was about 2.5h with another 1.5h of free time to explore and have lunch. MSM was moderately crowded when we arrived at 10a.m. and proceeded to get heavily crowded by noon. The narrow street in the old city was shoulder to shoulder with people and it was uncomfortable to navigate. We chose not to explore but, rather, to just get out of the tight crowd. The upper floors, and outside the walls, were much more pleasant. The ride back to Bayeux was via a different route so we were able to see some different countryside. Elise was as effervescent as ever and we enjoyed her conversation the entire trip. One negative aspect of the tour is that the floor of the van had been oiled or waxed to make it look shiny. The treatment was slippery and caused foot slipping when getting into the van. The treatment also permanently stained the backpacks we had stored on the floor. I'm glad we didn't lay jackets or clothing on the floor. Washing our packs did not remove the stains. If the viator vendor reads this I suggest you clean only with soap and water and do not use the oily floor treatment. I have rated Elise as 5, the value as a 4 (because of the stained packs), and the pick up as a 5. Overall, I rate this tour as a 4, again lowering the rating because of the staining of our personal gear.
