Due to unforseen circumstances, the colosseum was closed and we were offered a guided tour outside. It was a big mistake to take that offer as it was dreadful. Poor tour guide that wasn’t even going to bother with audio until we said none of us could hear her. Then she just raced around without waiting for the rest of us.
The tour guide, Roco was excellent. It was a lot of walking and climbing and he allowed us to sit part of it out.
Colosseum was breathtaking, tour guide was extremely knowledable and gracious, made time for water and bio breaks, as well as adding a little humor along the way.
The tour with Donatella was fantastic. It was very interesting and she was very informative. Be prepared for lots of steps and lots of stairs. It was a great way to learn more about Roman history. Thanks Donatella for making it interesting, fun and relaxed.
I booked this tour because otherwise I wouldn’t know what I was looking at in the Roman Forum. The guide was very informative. It was very hot but she made sure to point out spots to refill our water bottles.

The tour was fabulous! The tour guide , herself, was fabulous. Her name is Annie. And he had lots of very interesting information and lots of hints about where to go around in the city. She was a fantastic tour guide.

Our guide Anita was awesome! Very informative and knowledgeable. My only advice is not to do this to her in the summer as it can be very hot and there are lots of steps to navigate.
This tour is a scam as they said it’s small group tour and sold for more money but we had 20 people in the tour. I have reached out to the tour organizer and they haven’t come back to me to provide a refund.

Take a water bottle if it’s hot. There is one bubbler on the walk. This was an amazing experience. The history and knowledge of our guide was endless.
