Had a great time seeing and learning about the history of Rome and the Coliseum. Valario Cane was a great guide, who used his vast knowledge as an architect to add more context to each site that we got to see. The pace of walk was leisurely so even my daughter didn’t feel too tired by the end of the 3-hour tour. Would recommend getting a guide to help first-timers to better appreciate what you’re seeing and understand how Rome started as a village and grew to an empire.

Very informative guide, archaeologist Valerio Carne brought exceptional knowledge in a personable manner, taking time to personalise elements for my 11 year old in the guide.

Almost 3 hours of tour trying to summarize 2000 years of history and Alessandro did an awesome job!

Well organized tour and approach at the Colosseum/Flavian amphitheater. Our guide, Claudia, did an impressive job of keeping everybody informed and together. The mics worked really well so we could hear her and learn about the ‘Colosseum’, and she also had a wand with a clearly visible visual cue to identify where she was. Sadly, due to a closure, we didn’t get to go in the Palantine Hill or Forum, but that didn’t stop Claudia from walking us to a few other good viewpoints and sharing some tips on other ways to enjoy the area. Quite positive experience overall. It was also helpful that our guide did a great job answering our questions!

George was great! Want emphasize how knowledgeable he was, a great mix of giving you contextual history, showing the colleague through its different eras, and also balancing good photo ops without being too tourist trap-y.
