We had a really enjoyable day exploring Florence and Pisa with our family. Since we were visiting from a cruise, having transportation arranged from the port made the whole day much easier. We liked being able to sit back and enjoy the countryside instead of worrying about trains, buses, or directions. Florence was definitely the highlight for us. We had enough free time to walk around, see the cathedral area, admire the beautiful streets, and stop for something to eat. Later, seeing the Leaning Tower in Pisa was a great experience, especially for the kids. They loved taking the classic funny photos there! The day was busy, but it never felt unnecessarily stressful. We also appreciated the clear information from the tour coordinator and the attention to getting everyone back to the port on time. A very memorable family day in Tuscany.

I was traveling solo on a cruise and didn't want to spend my port day trying to figure out trains, connections, and timing on my own. I chose this tour mainly because it covered Florence and Pisa in one day, and it turned out to be a very convenient way to do it. Florence was fantastic for walking. The Cathedral was the first place that really stopped me in my tracks. From there, seeing Piazza della Signoria and walking across Ponte Vecchio gave me a good feel for the city even though my time was limited. Pisa was much quicker to explore, but I enjoyed the change of scenery. Walking around the Leaning Tower and the surrounding square was exactly what I wanted from a first visit. Of course, I took the obligatory tourist photos! As a solo traveler, I appreciated not having to constantly check maps or public transportation schedules. The day was structured enough to keep things moving but still allowed time to look around and take pictures. A full day, but a very satisfying one.

My partner and I wanted to make our day in Livorno count, and this Florence and Pisa trip gave us a great introduction to both places. Florence was definitely the part we were most excited about, and it didn't disappoint. We started with the Cathedral, which was absolutely stunning. Seeing all the details on the facade up close was much better than looking at pictures beforehand. We then wandered through the streets toward Piazza della Signoria and eventually made our way to Ponte Vecchio. It was nice having some time to simply walk around together, browse the shops, and take in the atmosphere. Pisa had a completely different feel. The Leaning Tower is obviously the star, but the surrounding square was just as enjoyable to walk around. We stopped for photos and had a little time to appreciate the architecture. It was a long sightseeing day, but for a couple visiting Tuscany for the first time, it felt like a very worthwhile use of our limited cruise-stop time. We returned with tired feet and a camera full of memories.

After Florence, we continued to Pisa and had enough time around the Leaning Tower and Piazza dei Miracoli to take plenty of pictures. It was a busy day, but it never felt like we were just rushing from one place to another. Having the transportation organized made a big difference with the children. We came back to the ship tired but very happy with how much we managed to see.

As a solo cruise passenger, I wanted to see Florence but also hoped to fit Pisa into the same day. I didn't want to spend the day figuring out trains, transfers, and return times, so I chose an organized excursion. The pickup at the cruise terminal was easy to find, and the transportation was comfortable. The journey gave me a chance to relax instead of worrying about directions. Once in Florence, the guide provided a good overview of the important areas and gave some useful historical context. I really liked having free time afterward. Traveling alone means I can move quite quickly, so I was able to visit a few places that interested me, take photographs, and stop for something to eat. Pisa was a nice second stop. Obviously the Leaning Tower is the main attraction, but walking around the square for a while was enjoyable too. The return timing was probably the thing I valued most. When you're on a cruise, being late back to the ship isn't something you want to risk. Everything was organized around getting passengers back on time. It made the whole day much easier than doing it independently.

This was our family's first visit to this part of Italy, so we wanted to make the most of our cruise stop in Livorno. Florence was definitely on our list, and adding Pisa made the day even more worthwhile. The organization from the beginning was good. We were picked up at the cruise terminal and didn't have to figure out public transportation with our children and luggage. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, which was important because there is quite a bit of driving involved. In Florence, the guide gave us a good introduction to the city and explained some of the history behind the main sights. After that, we had free time, which worked really well for our family. Our children wanted to look at different things than we did, so being able to explore at our own pace was helpful. Pisa was a fun final stop. The kids loved seeing the Leaning Tower in person and, of course, wanted to take the classic pushing-the-tower photo. We never felt like we were cutting things dangerously close with the ship departure. The return was well planned, and that made the day much less stressful. A very good option for families visiting Florence and Pisa during a cruise stop.

The bus stop in Florence was farther away then expected. Also would have appreciated seating in the area and shade. Otherwise we were pleased with both Florence and Pisa

My son had a wonderful time on the tour of Livorno. All the sights and monuments and museum visited were all a wonderful experience.

This is a great tour to get a taste of Florence and Pisa. Lorenzo, our guide, was absolutely fantastic! He was patient, accommodating, and very knowledgeable of the locations we were visiting. Valentina, our city guide in Florence, also did a phenomenal job at keeping us informed while doing her best to keep us out of the sweltering sun. I would highly recommend!

It was super easy to book three different excursions that were all highly rated and very cost effective versus the excursions offered by the cruise line. I book all three excursions with confidence since I've used them in the past on many other excursions. One time, I had to cancel the excursion and the process of getting our refund was seamless.
