Our cooking lesson with George was truly one of the highlights of our entire trip! From the moment he met our group at the ship terminal, the fun began.
George gave us a wonderful tour of Corfu, sharing fascinating historical information as well as insights into life on the island today. We visited the local market together, where we purchased fresh produce for our meal, and then he took us to the one remaining synagogue in town. We especially appreciated that he included this in our tour. It was very meaningful to learn about the history of the Jewish community in Corfu and to see the monuments honoring those who perished in the Holocaust.
From there, we went to George’s incredible home, where the real magic began. We helped prepare a delicious meal in a gorgeous setting, enjoying wonderful food, great conversation, and plenty of laughs along the way. It was such a warm, personal, and memorable experience.
Everything was absolutely perfect—from the tour and the cooking to the food and George’s hospitality. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip.
Our entire group would highly recommend George’s cooking experience to anyone visiting Corfu. It’s so much more than a cooking lesson—it’s a wonderful way to experience the history, culture, food, and hospitality of this beautiful island!

Food, culture, & lots of laughter
This cooking class was one of the highlights of our time in Corfu! We were welcomed into a beautiful home with breathtaking scenery, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed and memorable experience.
We learned a lot about traditional Greek food preparation and how to make delicious local dishes, while also hearing about the history and culture of Corfu. The insights into Old Town and olive oil production were fascinating and added so much to the experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious.
What made the experience especially enjoyable was the laughter, conversation, and genuine warmth throughout the class. It was a wonderful way to experience Corfu through its food, traditions, and people. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island!

Amazing
George and his family are wonderful people rich with knowledge of Corfu they share with all their guests. His home is beautiful and very warm hospitality. Delicious food too. I loved walking through the market and learning about the area + ingredients we will cook.

Cooking with Yorgos and Lola
This is an interactive experience. Yorgos and Lola are so much fun.
Yorgos welcomes you into his home and he and Lola show you how to make some amazing, authentic, Greek dishes. It is an intimate experience, there were only 9 of us, which makes it even more special. So far this has been the highlight of our trip. Come hungry and expect to leave full.

Traditional, Delicious & Fun
Amazing cooking experience in Corfu! We had a wonderful time learning how to prepare traditional Corfiot dishes, with great local ingredients and a very friendly atmosphere. A Taste of Corfu and Joy of Cooking
Yorgos met us in Old Town Corfu, sharing tips for shopping in the market as well as in specialty shoppes for cheese and yogurt.
We were glad Yorgos offered to drive us to his beautiful olive estate and home outside of Corfu, where we learned aspects of olive harvesting and EVO processing in the community, as well as some amazing historical details of his family’s long history of olive oil production.
The highlight of the session was the group preparation of a delicious meal. Jorgas, along with his son and his chef, made everyone feel like a pro in preparation for a healthy and authentic full-course meal.

Fantastic experience with a warm and enthusiastic Greek!
We had a fantastic experience with Yorgos and his team! Our 5-year-old son was warmly welcome at this cooking workshop and was involved in every part. Yorgos is a very warm man who speaks with great passion about Greek traditions, including Greek cuisine and olive oil production. Everyone is involved in preparing the dishes, which were then deliciously enjoyed with a glass of wine and a panoramic view! A real recommendation! Thank you for your enthusiasm and kindness Yorgos!

THE BEST DAY OF OUR HOLIDAY
We started by exploring the beautiful old town of Corfu,where Yorgos showed us around and told us so many interesting stories and facts about the history of the city.It was wonderful to discover the city this way.
Afterwards,we went to the local market to choose our own vegetables and fruit,which made the cooking experience even more special.And then came the cooking itself - absolutely fantastic!The food was delicous, and we had such a wonderful time
Yorgos made the whole experience feel personal, relaxed an authentic.We enjoyed every minutes of it and would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Corfy!!

Friendly and welcoming people,great atmosphere,highly recommended!
The cooking classes and olive oil tasting was the highlight of our holidays in Corfu!
Very friendly people from the host ,chef and staff,they all made us feel very welcome in their home. With their warm behaviour they made us feel like members of their family! The preparation,olive oil tour was great but the traditional Greek lunch was out of this world! This activity is highly recommended if you want to experience the genuine Greek hospitality.
Congrats to all the staff,you have done an excellent job!

Host too touchy with girls
While the activities were great, the host was uncomfortable touchy with girls that were both a lot younger than him and in relationships, often holding their shoulders or holding them by their hips.
This was incredibly uncomfortable and undesirable from a host.

Regarding your complaint of the host being"unccorfatble touchy"with girls,we would like to inform you that in Greece to touch someone on the shoulder is considered as a gesture of frinedship and kindness,not a touchy behaviour!
Furthermore,nobody never,ever made a gesture to another part of your body!
This would be definetely inapropriate and far of the limits of the professional behaviour we all in our company have and is 100% against our spirit and manners!
Perhaps in your country,Japan,touching someone on the shoulder is an indication of the behaviour you described. We apologize for not knowing this individuality of(some or all) Japanese people.
However,it is very strange that all the other female participants,from USA,England and Croatia,also accompanied by their male companions,received the same friendly and welcoming attitude exaxtly like yourself. Not only they were not offended or bothered,they applaud our warm behaviour for making them feel like home and they rated us with FIVE STARS.
As we were not aware of the specific individuality that is exceeds the Japanese frames of good behaviour,you should be also informed what "friendly and welcoming" behaviour means for not only the Greek people but for most of the European and American people.
It is the first time that we receive such an offensive review and it is turning against not only our company but against my family and the values we have passed to our children.Perhaps you should have considered it more thoroughly before upoading it.
