family run business. we felt like a member of the family! very interesting and the olive oil was amazing. we did this because our boat excursion cancelled due to the weather and we ended up being even happier that we had this experience. the best!

Firstly, the olive oil was excellent. It is a family owned generational grove/mill and they are very passionate about their product and its heritage. We enjoyed listening to the story of the mill’s past and present, and especially enjoyed visiting (and climbing!) the “Mother Tree”. The only suggestion I would make is that there be benches available for sitting while listening to the 30 minute +/- presentation.

We are on our honeymoon in Corfu and we had such a wonderful experience at The Governor Olive Mill and would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Corfu! Our tour guide, Dimitrius, was fantastic, extremely knowledgeable, engaging and clearly passionate about the history and his love of story telling. We learned so much throughout the experience, and the olive oil tasting itself was really interesting (and delicious!). A special mention also has to go to Sotirius, who provided our transportation and also guided us during the portion of the tour where we visited the incredible Mitera tree. He was so friendly and welcoming and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Visiting the ancient Mitera tree was definitely one of the highlights for us. It’s amazing to stand beside something with so much history, and learning about the olive-growing traditions of Corfu made us appreciate the island (and olive oil) even more. Everything felt personal, informative and relaxed, and both Dimitrius and Sotirius made us feel very welcome. One of our favourite experiences in Corfu and absolutely worth doing!

Great learning about how olive oil was made in the past and now, and all of the many health benefits. The tastings were well done. The trip to see the trees and the old fort were also interesting. Glad we chose this excursion.

We were the De Bono hotel pickup couple today. It was fabulous. Our guide and driver, Spiridos I think, was superb. Brilliant driving, engaging, polite and he made a superb tour guide for the second part of the tour to Mitera. Truly wonderful experience, thanks to a fine young man.

Really enjoyed this experience - a lovely place, great informative guide and talk, and learned a lot about Corfu, Olive Oil and history! the tasting segment was really great and different olive oil tasted and then served with bread, salad and yogurt. An interesting selection of items to buy in the shop beyond the olive oil too - including some dry oil moisturiser which is lovely! Really recommend this as an experience while visiting Corfu.

Very good experience. The organizers have thought of everything. We felt very comfortable the whole time. We learned a lot of new things. Responsive and pleasant people.

An interesting trip. Our driver was excellent and answered all our questions. The guide who performed the tour on site was very knowledgeable, but unfortunately sometimes hard to follow due to a soft voice and strong accent. It was good to see more of the island outside of the resort area.

Clear and professional pickup service thanks to Andriana and Sotiris. Beautiful setting and tasting room, very informative tour about olive oil. Around 30 in the tour, with some people arriving independently. After having time to shop, we got driven to the olive grove and learned more about the trees, then got to see an old Byzantine fort. Got back to the Corfu town area around 3:20, so be prepared for a full day. Unique and well-done experience!
