We had a wonderfulafternoon driving to the Temple of Poseidon — actually our driver Thanasis did all the work and we just played tourist!
He picked us up as scheduled at our hotel in a new and beautiful car. The drive was very pleasant, we chatted and passed the time as we drove past some gorgeous beaches and ocean vistas..
Thanasis even took us to Lake Vouliagmeni which is a gorgeous natural lake, next time we would love to swim! But we were very excited to get to Sounion and the beautiful temple there. The views were amazing, we had plenty of time to walk around and enjoyed browsing the gift shops. There’s a very nice restaurant and bar right on the way to the temple.
Thanasis is a great driver, friendly and interesting…we had a very thoughtful conversation, and could not have been happier with our experience today. Highly recommended!

Flexible and fun
This was an amazing tour and the guide was flexible and well informed. He even took is to some unscheduled beautiful view point. Je assisted us with transportation throughout out trip. We highly recommend Thanasis! He speaks very good English.

A tour to remember!!
It's been a very beautiful day!!!The driver ,Thanasis, was very polite and helpful!Very pleasant with allot of knowledge and an excellent sense of humor!!the car was very clean. He explained us how much time we had so we could organize what we wanted to do!if you want to spend a tour to remember you can ask for thanasis.

It was great!

Must see - Poseidons Temple at Sunset
Yiannis was our driver, he was very knowledgeable and shared alot of history with us along our ride. The drive was beautiful slong the Athenian Riveria. We got to Poseidon's Temple just before sunset, it was breathtaking and everyone clapped when the sun went down. Great experience! Thank you Yiannis for a great evening.

Phenomenal breathtaking tour!

Make sure you are timed...
Make sure you are timed to stay for sunset. It’s a worthwhile drive from Athens but a long one.. Pedro’s was professional and kind.
