Windy weather messed with our scheduled lesson, but we managed to get three people foilboarding on a trip. What a blast! Steve, our instructor, was a professional parasailer in his previous life so he gives quick tips to help you get up on the board and enjoying your ride fast. My 15-year-old nephew deemed this the most fun he's ever had. He wanted to schedule another lesson for the next day. Steve is a joy to work with. This won't disappoint.
Kids and husband had a wonderful time. You get plenty of time on the boards and it was laid back, easy and fun! They are going back again.

If your thinking about doing it, just do it!!! Had an absolute blast, and Steve was hilarious, and a great teacher, super lad back.. Just listen to what he says, and look cool 😊.. If you think you can't do it, your wrong.. May take some longer than others but you can learn most things.. Enjoy the process.
Steve is competent and experienced at getting beginner foilers up and riding - he's a little rough around the edges (perhaps frustrated by his assistant's absence and some mechanical challenges with the foil boards) but very competent. The lessons are quick and to the point and he rides around with you to give you verbal instruction then lets you run out the battery on the machine prior to your lesson completion - overall a pretty good deal to learn foiling in tropical waters!
Great time on the water. Book the earliest you can do (water is calmer). If you have skateboarded as a kid, or snowboarded, or longboard surfed, any of that will help. This IS PHYSICAL. Plan on being tired, maybe scuffed elbows. Maybe even a little bruise or two from hitting the water. This is not for the timid unless you want to ride around laying down the whole time. I got there and really went for it. Yes. I fell. A lot. But every time I got better and it was longer between falls. The staff was good with instructions and support. They really do want you to succeed.

This was an amazing experience!!! Great instructor, got me up on the board after a few minutes. He got me hooked and I regret I haven’t this done earlier. Highly recommended!!!
