Great helicopter tour and spectacular views of Statue of Liberty and Manhattan skyline. Only shortfall is the Downtown Airport/helipad facilities or more so the lack of them. When you arrive early, they quite rudely send you away and there is nowhere to wait except some public benches with sleeping homeless people next to a busy, congested highway.
Everything went super smoothly. We flew to sunset, saw New York in the bright as well as at night. Highly recommended ! We were in the air for a total of 32 minutes.
Entertaining flying tour of NYC. Pilot was competent and informative. Ground assistance was particularly helpful. A lot of money for half an hour’s entertainment but my brother, who is a pilot, has told me that helicopters cost a ridiculous amount of money to run. The one drawback is if you’re on the port side you’ll have to lean across those on starboard to photograph the best sites (Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building etc). I thought this could be solved by simply doing u-turn and flying back the way we came. My brother again reliably informed me such a plan would never be approved as you’d risk crashing into other tour helicopters. Glad they gave me a chance to online tip as the lady who got us prepped certainly deserved a gratuity (I just never carry cash these days). Summing up - Good but expensive and try to get on starboard for the best shots.
They don’t refund the money if something happend , money people was work hard I didn’t expect all the money back but you take all and you don’t give any credit maybe the person can’t come do it every time hi ready when this thing took your money they just don’t care about your feelings if you not sure you going do it don’t spend your money they going take it you going lost 🤬
If you go to NY you must do this tour, staff were very helpful and knowledgable, pilot was amazing and we felt very safe

super smooth flight. the crew very friendly.you can take great photos from the aircraft. at different angles, an experience that I would certainly share again. I recommend it 1000%

This was going to be the highlight of our trip . Flying over Manhattan at night . Turned out it was 7 people crammed into the helicopter for 14 minutes including takeoff and landing . As soon as we got there we couldn't wait to get away as we felt like an inconvenience to the staff the whole time. The pilot didn't even say a word the whole journey and we felt as if he didn't want to be there . We took off from Kearney , New Jersey and barely made Manhattan and we were turning around. We got crap photos and memories we would rather forget . Overpriced and not worth it . Hang onto your money and don't buy into the hype
Hello, we here at Liberty Helicopters are so incredibly sorry to hear this. Are you sure it was a Liberty Helicopters flight you took? Because our helicopters only fit 5 or 6 people max and secondly, the pilot talks the entire trip as it is a narrated tour.
Picked up by XL limosine! Contact was easy. The flight was breathtaking. It was possible to store (large) luggage at the heliform. The flight was smooth en the views were excellent. Absolutely recommended!!
