Great tour overall! Our guide Francesco was extremely knowledgeable about Matera and it's history. He kept the tour fun and informative. We had plenty of opportunities for photos and were able to look around at particular stops. He also recommend great museums, churches and restaurants for us to explore after the tour. 10/10 would recommend!
Incredible! The best way to get to know Matera completely, in a short time, and with a very entertaining and interesting local guide.
Our driver, Antonio was great! Good information, friendly and nice. A fun way to experience Matera, especially if your feet hurts 😅
This was the highlight of our visit to Matera. Francesco was great: very knowledgeable, personable, and fluent in English (as our Italian is basic). Matera is quite hilly so this was very beneficial. He went above and beyond to help me connect with a merchant after one of my souvenir purchases broke. Highly recommend.
Really fun way to get a good overview of Matera. Guides were great! Kids thought it was super cute and it was the perfect way for my dad to see a lot without needing to climb up and down the town.
A highlight of our visit to Matera. The perfect way to getting to grips with Matera and good insight into the history. Francesco was a brilliant guide, very knowledgeable and great sense of humour made for a really fun experience. Highly recommend Francesco as a guide
Very nice experience Francesco knew a lot about Matera and we had a very nice view of Matera because of this
Really recommended! Francesco are not available but also very knowledgeable about the history of Matera and places / places not to be missed. You can see his passion and that he cares about his land. Super recommended really! Not to be missed 🙂
Great city tour by scooter Matera is the perfect place for this experience. Our pilot was great. Grazie
Best experience during our entire trip in Italy! Antonio was incredible with his historical knowledge with an added touch of personal experience. His stories of his own family, the visits to the cave homes and church, and topping it off with a personal touch by offering to get us a table at an incredible restaurant with an incredible view overlooking the Sassi di Matera at sunset. Literally the best experience! 10/10 recommend! Thank you for an unforgettable night.
