While the view of the castle and surrounding area is lovely, this trip is more of a tourist trap. The cost for the bus ride to the parking lot is expensive and they charge extra for a bottle of water on the bus. Then you have to pay a separate fee to get a ride up to the castle and a separate fee to go into the castle. The castle is not complete - only a few rooms were finished - and the tour is brief (only 30 minutes) and you get little information. Recommend you try a different trip.

Perfect day trip
Truly some of the best views I’ve ever seen! The tour guide (Charlie) had a great energy and it was so nice to not worry about transportation for a day. I encourage people to pay the 24 euros at the Radius tours meeting point so you can see the inside of the castle!

I had a great time on...
I had a great time on this tour. Our tour guide Lana was amazing. She knew a lot about the areas we were traveling through as well as informing us about King Ludwig II. I would recommend this tour to everyone and hope they get Lana as a tour guide.

Fun tour balanced with knowledge
Lana was a great travel guide. She was very much fun, but also very knowledgeable. She also worked hard to be sure all the various needs of the group members were met. I highly recommend this trip.

Great last day of vacation!
Charlie was fantastic. Knowledgeable. Entertaining. Kept the group organized and on schedule without being a drill sergeant about it. Very much enjoyed the trip!

Excellent day trip to...
Excellent day trip to Neuschwanstein Castle! The castle was spectacular, and the scenery was beautiful. The free time was perfect for exploring, browsing the local shops, and taking in the atmosphere at our own pace. Leon was a fabulous guide, friendly, knowledgeable, and well organised. He made the day enjoyable from start to finish. Highly recommended!
