Joseph the tour guide was awesome. Very knowledgeable about the area and food. There was only my friend and I on the tour the day we went and he helped make it a memorable and fun experience. It's not a very intense walk and the food was excellent. Would recommend to anyone looking for a light walk around Chinatown while eating good food and learning the cool history of the area.

My family of three ended up being the only ones who signed up for the tour. So we ended up with a private one. Our tour guide Joseph was born & raised in SF. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Chinatown and SF. The food stops were great. Everything was tasty and eateries we wouldn’t have known about on our own,

This is a very good tour, wish there would have been a little more food. What there was, was still good. Our guide was very informative. Take the tour and some extra money. We'll worth it.

We had Joe as a tour guide. He taught us a lot about the history of Chinatown and let us sample some yummy treats at some of the businesses (buns, fortune cookies and dim sum). The only thing I was surprised about: there was no tea sampling. Tea is a pretty big deal in Chinese culture (although, more so in Japanese culture). The history lesson and the walk about was great and Joe was a very personable host to the 4 of us.

We were confirmed and then cancelled the day before. We were offered another tour but not for Chinatown, not comparable. Frustrating but we were told it was due to illness. Hopi g our refund comes through. Until then, hesitant to book with this company again.

My tour was cancelled without prior warning.I ubered to starting point for 11am start only to receive a message at 11.06 saying the tour was cancelled. Still waiting to hear about refund

I gave this tour as a gift to family members. They were thrilled with the tour and were so impressed with the tour guide, Robert. They described how knowledgeable Robert was and were fascinated with the history. They weren’t familiar with the food and loved experiencing new flavors. They now love Dim Sum and will return to experience Chinatown again.
