We were met just 5 minutes walk off the cruise ship by Ketchikan Kayak company and transferred in a comfortable minivan to the kayak and e-bike depot. We had a lovely ride on the E bikes to the rainforest along smooth, flat road with Onika, our guide, and one other person in our party. It was a lovely day in Ketchikan and there are two waterfalls along the way. We also got to walk through the rainforest to the beach where we saw lots of seals. We didn’t see bears, but we did see the salmon swimming upstream. Onika said she normally sees bears 5 out of 7 days. The rainforest was lovely and the ride was easy along the roadway and very safe. We had snacks on return of salmon dip and crackers - yum! Highly recommend this tour with Onika through Ketchikan Kayak company.

I ended up being the only one in the group. Jenny picked me up and dropped me off at the cruise terminal. Anika was my guide and was great! Knowledgeable and very kind. It was my first time riding an e-bike. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the ride to the forest. Ketchikan had received heavy rains the night before, and the creeks were flowing, and several became falls. We stopped along the way and took pictures. Beautiful scenic ride to the Tongass National Forest! Once in the forest, Anika gave an overview. We stopped at the main creek, hoping to see bears. With the rain the night before, the water was too fast for the bears to come to the creek and catch salmon. We made it to the beach where we saw some seals. Sadly, we did not see much wildlife, but the views were beautiful! After the tour, we headed back to where Ketchikan Kayak Company had smoked salmon and other snacks ready for me. The ladies were great! As I was leaving, many visitors were coming in for the kayak adventure. I forgot to mention that I also received a snack back for the trip to the Tongass National Forest. I would recommend Ketchikan Kayak Company.

This was a wonderful experience. The guides were personable and informative. This was a great learning experience in a beautiful location. The pick up and drop off location was within walking distance to my cruise ship.

What a fun tour outside of downtown Ketchikan! This port is always a fun one to walk & shop around but going 20+ minutes outside of town and taking the e-bikes to a trailhead, then short hike to a beautiful beach was perfect! We met them on the dock as we got off the cruise ship at 8am ( we docked around 7:30am), they drove us to the bikes where we met our wonderful guide Anika. The bikes were in excellent condition which was nice. After, the ride and hike they served us delicious smoked salmon snacks - super yummy! We still had time to walk around town after the tour as our ship all aboard was 3:00. Highly recommend this tour!

We did this excursion with Spencer & Emily. They were both wonderful, great bike ride and Rain Forest hike. Extremely informative and very enjoyable activity. We saw a bear eating some salmon. That was a win!

We had never ridden a E-bike before. Our guides gave us great instruction to make us all comfortable on the bikes. The bike was easy to use and quite fun. The small hike through the rain forest was fantastic and it led us to a beach front in which we had beautiful views to capture some wonderful pics! The guide was excellent and highly knowledgeable about the rain forest. Highly recommend this tour.

What a fun adventure and a unique way to explore different areas of Ketchikan! The pickup from the cruise ship was seamless. The short van ride to the location to get the e-bikes was beautiful. The bikes were easy to handle. The hike at the end of the road was informative and a great way to learn more about the Alaska nature. But the cherry on top was watching the black bear hunt for her salmon lunch in the creek. What a thrill to watch her catch a fish! Anika was a fabulous guide and it was enjoyable to experience her enthusiasm about Alaska. Definitely a highlight of our trip!

So much fun. We had spectacular weather. Scenery was gorgeous. Guide was very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend.
