Was a nice experience out on the water, the boat was comfortable and had coffee, hot chocolate and snacks. Unfortunately, we did not see any whales which was an obvious bummer, but not something you can necessarily plan or prevent.. we did however see bald eagles and a deer, and our guides made sure to make the experience great and put in a ton of effort to get us whales.
Mark was very friendly and knowledgeable. He spent a lot of time explaining things and was very accessible. Loved the small boat with only a few people on it. We saw a humpback come up several times!! Captain Morgan did a great job getting us near the whale but at a respectful distance.
Great trip around the local islands. See eagles, Sitka deer, a sea lion and just overall enjoyed the ride. Unfortunately no whales, but we knew it was late in the season.
The service on the boat was good. It took us a long time to find a whale, although we know it is a bit of luck. We were only able to find one whale and we stayed watching it for about 30 minutes. Then we returned to port.
They are great at finding whales!! Said they could spot them from a mile away and I believe them!! Very friendly and knowledgeable!
Theodore and Morgan were amazing! We were able to see a whale up close. They threw fish to a bald eagle so it would fly right by us. We saw some seals as well. There was free, coffee, hot chocolate, water, bottles, and snacks provided. There is also a restroom on board. A wonderful experience for a good price. 2.5 hours long! We had about 15 people and did not feel crowded. There was lots of room for sitting. We were super lucky with clear skies and calm water.
10/10 recommend!! We had such a great time with Captain Jesse and Michelle. It was me, my husband, our 6 month old and then one other couple. We didn't have to fight for a view and I got the most incredible video. Michelle was very informative and kind. Captain Jesse spotted whales immediately and gave us such a memorable experience for our family. The length of the tour was perfect and we enjoyed the hot chocolate and snacks. For a bonus we got to see an Eagles nest and watched the babies fly around, they huge!! Thank you again for the fun and family memories.
