This skip the line experience was amazing. No waiting at all and it was great because Rome was 95 degrees. Once inside, we were able to get a free English guide with our tickets. She was terrific and gave all the highlights. The tour company is very organized and responsive. An amazing visit overall.

We paid over 90 dollars each to be escorted , by a very grumpy man to a turn stile at entrance to Vatican museums. Then we were left , no advice etc . When it came to St Peter's basilica, there were no queues anyway. ...and of course it's free. My advice: Research before you buy these totally overpriced tickets.

We weren’t aware that this is a self guided experience There wasn’t really a line to skip, Friday Eve at 5pm was fairly quiet

I used this service to get a skip-the-line ticket when it wasn’t available on the official website. A tour guide was available but I did not want it - you can skip the guide no problem. If tickets are available on the official website then buy there, otherwise this is a good option.

Extremely disappointed with this Vatican tour company and would absolutely not book with them again. We originally booked and paid for a 3:30 PM “Skip the Line” Vatican tour and planned the rest of our Rome itinerary around that confirmed time. The evening before the tour, we received a call saying the 3:30 PM tour was suddenly no longer available — despite it still being listed online when we booked it. We were told the only option was a 5:15 PM tour, so we rearranged several other activities in Rome to accommodate the later time. Unfortunately, things only got worse from there. When we arrived, the tickets they issued were for the wrong MONTH. Because of this mistake, our entire group stood waiting in line for an extended period of time — hardly “skip the line.” We were eventually brought into the Vatican nearly an hour later than expected. By then it was so late in the day that we received only an abbreviated rushed tour because the Vatican was preparing to close. Several others in our group mentioned they had also rearranged schedules and activities to accommodate this changed tour time, only to experience further delays and confusion once there. To make matters worse, the person handling ticket distribution became rude, argumentative, and was openly yelling at people in the group. We paid over $500 and did not receive the tour we originally booked or paid for. This was also our last day in Rome, so there was no opportunity to reschedule and properly experience the Vatican another day. The entire experience felt disorganized, unprofessional, and poorly managed from start to finish. Based on our experience — and hearing similar frustrations from others in the group — I would strongly recommend booking with another company.

The activity was canceled one day before the scheduled date because it was suddenly overbooked. An absolute disgrace and unprofessional.

This ticket includes a fee for a tour guide and listening device. The guide was terrible- we started as a group of at least 20 people and after 40 minutes had dropped to 4. He walked us in circles for 40 minutes telling us and showing us nothing. Skip the fees and save yourself time and money. The price is inflated with extra fees- book straight through the Vatican. Also, the day before the tour the guide moved our time-slot by 2 1/2 hrs, causing us to miss other planned sites.
