Spectacular way to get to know Switzerland, the chocolate, and the cheese.
Spectacular!! Not a single wasted moment. It was a super complete tour that allowed us to get to know the Swiss countryside, unbeatable landscapes, in-depth knowledge of how chocolate and Gruyere cheese are made, to taste them, and to visit the medieval town of Gruyere. We were also able to connect for a stretch with the Golden Express, which allowed us to see some spectacular panoramic views of Switzerland and the lake. It is a tour without any wasted moments; I feel that the day was very productive and without me feeling rushed. One of the best I have taken. Amin was a polyglot driver who provided us with all the necessary information. A lot of knowledge. I recommend it 1000%

Lovely Gruyère
The cheese factory wasn’t as fun as the chocolate factory but loved the samples and the town of Gruyère. Normunds was very helpful and Knowledgeable. Thank you for offering pickup from my hotel. Even though it was delayed an hour, I still appreciated not having to navigate transportation.

Swiss Tours trips are a great value!
There is a bit of a long ride to get to Gruyeres, but it's absolutely worth the time. Our guide, Babas (sorry, I have probably misspelled his name), was an amazing source of knowledge about Geneva and the surrounding areas. The tour bus was quite comfortable and our guide was a safe and careful driver. Both the chocolate and cheese factories were interesting. Pace yourself at Cailler chocolates - they give you so many samples. I loved the medieval town of Gruyeres. I can't comment on the castle at Gruyeres - i spent most of my time in the HR Giger Museum. In fact, Babas was kind enough to take me into Gruyeres early while the others in the group were having lunch at the cheese factory, so I would have enough time to see the museum. It was a long day with the drive back and forth, but it was totally worth it. I would encourage anyone considering one of the Swiss Tours trips to go. They give you great value for your money. Others I spoke to who had done other Swiss Tours trips had enjoyed their trips as well. If I am lucky enough to visit Geneva again, I will try more of their tours.

Lovely trip but not value for money
The bus trip out to Gruyeres was in fact a lovely trip with a charming guide and driver however it is quite pricey for the experience which includes two visits to two small perhaps private museums

Amazing tour

Long Drive for Short Tours — Wish We Had More Time in Gruyères
The chocolate and cheese factory tours were fine—both were relatively short and felt more like opportunities to shop in their gift stores than full experiences. I would have preferred to spend more time exploring the town of Gruyères itself or to get out or the van in Montreax. Overall, it’s a long day of driving for just the factory visits.

Well worth with the money. The guide was great. Gruyère was very scenic. The tour of the production was interesting. The tour of Cailler was better. Lots of chocolate !

Terrible cheese tasting opportunity.
The cheese stop was not up to my standards. The little cheese sampler packet was not what we expected. The castle entrance fee should have been part of the package with more time to visit there.

Avoid the gold package!!! Health concern!!
I only gave 1 star because I had too. DO NOT book the gold package with the fondue. The restaurant sits you with strangers and you are expected to share the fondue with them. In my case the other people double dipped which is extremely unsanitary and as a result we did not get any of the fondue we paid for and the company refused to refund the portion of the tour even though we did not get. They is a serious health concern, unsanitary and gross. PLEASE AVOID IT.

We’d like to clarify that in the Gold Package, the fondue is served as a shared plate as swiss tradition as this tour is for you to know more about swiss culture— this is clearly stated in the tour description. Groups are formed from the start to provide guests with a traditional Swiss cultural and culinary experience. If guests are uncomfortable with sharing, they are welcome to order something else from the menu, but a refund is not possible for choosing not to participate in this part.
We also encourage guests to consider the entire tour experience when leaving a review, as it includes not only the fondue but also other cultural, scenic, and culinary highlights.

This tour to Gruyères was truly a wonderful experience. I learned a lot about the history and the fascinating process of making Swiss chocolate and Gruyère cheese, which made the visit both educational and delicious. The medieval village of Gruyères looked absolutely magical, like stepping into a fairytale, and it was very easy to walk around and enjoy. From the castle and cobblestone streets to the charming houses, every corner offered a picture-perfect view. The surrounding plains and farms were breathtaking, adding to the charm of the trip.
The only small difficulty I had was with the meeting point at the airport. The coordinates given in the reservation led me to the runway, which was confusing and not logical. I spent some time lost trying to figure it out. I suggest that clearer instructions be added, such as specifying the terminal number and the exact meeting gate, so that future travelers can find it more easily.
Overall, this was a memorable and highly enjoyable tour. I definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Switzerland.
