no tour guide to meet you which is difficult because the German speaking staff tell you to look for your tour guide’s conpany flag

The visit to the palace of the Austrian emperors, their residence, and the story of Empress Sissi was interesting. There was a lot of confusion on the part of the operator, who initially sent 2 tickets instead of the 3 that were booked. Following 4 phone calls and several emails and WhatsApp messages, I received the missing ticket in time.

Interesting experience. Quite different than we expected. Wouldn’t worry about skip the line (there wasn’t one) very strict on entering exhibit time. Pleasantly surprised. Can’t wait to get home and learn more about “Sussy”!

I never got the entry tickets from booking.com. I called and the AI assistant refused to connect me with a real person. Because I never got the tickets, I did NOT get into the attraction. The ticket office informed me that this is a common problem with Booking.com. Now, they are refusing to give me my money back. Avoid booking.com like the plague.

The coordinates for the starting point of our tour sent by Viator were incorrect. We found the start of the second part of our tour, the Sisi museum, after calling the Viator customer support number twice, and visited it. But we never found the Hopburg Palace entrance were our tickets were accepted. Very disappointed with Viator. I recommend avoiding them.

Arrive at the appointment time and you will enter without any issues. Building close to Stephanplatz, easy to find.

Need to plan ahead: its a big complex with several museums. Small passages through the Sisi apartments

There are no signs for the entrance so we had to go around the building several times until we finally reached the entrance. Overall it was ok experience. Recommend if you are familiar with Sisi history
