Greg made this tour a wonderful experience. The pace was good, kept us on the move but without feeling rushed. Used every form of public transportation which was a tour in itself. Added insight into history with personal reflections. He had a delightful personality. His answers to all our questions were thoughtful, candid and honest. I highly recommend this tour as a great introduction to Budapest. Note: there were only 8 participants which was a perfect size group.

Outstanding tour with Gergely Molnár (Greg Miller, anglicized). He was not only knowledgeable but able to convey the rich history in an interesting and relatable way. Great English skills. His pride in his city was contagious and he was eager to answer our many questions on history or current day. Ushering 6 visitors around town via metro, buses and walking is no small task but it felt seamless and we never felt rushed. The strudel stop was yummy with multiple types to try. Highly recommend this tour and Greg as guide. Be sure to book directly with Absolute Tours to avoid extra fees.

Great introduction to the city, including how to take advantage of mass transit. Greg, our local guide gave us insights into the history of Budapest as well as showing us the area.

Meeting spot and guide were easy to find.. Loved having the opportunity to use different types of transportation. The guide was knowledgeable and helpful. The strudel stop was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend

I enjoyed this tour. I got to see parts of the city I probably would have missed had I done this on my own. The strudel stop was a cherry on the cake so to speak. Our guide was knowledgeable with enough facts and anecdotes to make it enjoyable.

I'm giving this 3 instead of 2 because Balint was very nice and knowledgeable. But since we're on the move, I think I only heard 10% of what he said all day. Get tramsmittors!!! Ridiculous in this age to not be able to hear everything through earbuds. Sites were great, history fascinating, guide was very good. Appearance, though, did not represent the company well with an old tee-shirt and ungroomed beard. Very sloppy and unprofessional looking. Very adept at 3 types of public transport so we were able to get to a lot of areas.

Petra provided unbelievably detailed information about Hungarian history. Great explanation of mass transportation (for us first time visitors), superb restaurant recommendations. Was the best way to start our stay in Budapest!

Fantastic walking tour covering the major sites in Buda and Pest. Petra was an amazing guide who really knew the city and history and was a lot of fun.
