The guide Mathew was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. It was an excellent well paced tour with plenty of stops highlighting all the history of Buda and Pest.

We all agreed that this was an exceptional experience, due in no small part, to our guide, Matthew. We were particularly impressed by his extensive knowledge, his passion for his city, his turn of phrase and his sense of humour. However, the welcome at the shop, the bikes, the route all added to this review. Many, many thanks Bike and Relax. We cannot recommend you highly enough.

“Small group” was 12 bikes in a crowded city environment. Very hazardous. I fell as did another lady. Very hard to follow guide with long string of bikes. Just not as advertised. Great knowledgeable guide but 12 was way too many for one guide to handle.

Mate was a brilliant guide full of great local info and generous with his time. A great way to see the city and key landmarks. We enjoyed so much we hired the same bikes for another day and visited Szentendre. The guys in the shop were incredibly helpful with guidance maps and directions. The e-bike is one of the best we’ve ridden. Great company great tour.

It was a warm and informative sightseeing tour with Peter. The tour was fortunately in German after all, even though it was not selectable in the app, and we received a lot of background knowledge. It does not get any better than this!

Great e-bikes, better guide, super safe streets to ride. Absolute best way to see the town. Olly was fantastic and made the experience even better. E-bikes weren't required, but definitely appreciated for a 3.5 hour ride around town.

Wonderful tour including sights of both sides of the river. Amazing views that would be difficult to see all in one day by foot. The guide was excellent.

I had an excellent tour with Oliver. I got upgraded to the e-bike tour, and it was great fun — especially riding up to Buda Castle at 25 km/h with very little effort. Our group received thorough instructions on how to ride the e-bikes, which made everyone feel comfortable and safe. Oliver, a native Hungarian, was extremely knowledgeable and shared fascinating historical insights at every stop. The tour was very well paced and covered all the major highlights of Budapest. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a more personal alternative away from the large tourist groups and crowds. Also worth mentioning is the lovely little shop, “Bike & Relax,” where the tour starts and ends. The MyEsel e-bikes, designed in Austria, were fantastic to ride and offer support levels from 0–5 depending on how much assistance you want during the ride.
