A beautiful trip down the Danube at the end of the day, wonderful to see the city from the water

Great danube cruise in budapest. Relaxing. And the beverage was good !! See you next time with another trip

It can either be a 5 star experience or a 0 star one. We unfortunately experienced the latter. Based on the information emailed to us, we arrived 15 minutes (as advised) before the activity start time. We stood on line and once the gates were opened, it was like a stampede to enter the boat and claim the best seats. Given we had small children who did not move as fast, we ended up finding no seats together upstairs. (It is preferred to sit upstairs where the top is open and there is a beautiful breeze and spectacular views.) People claimed two seats for themselves and refused to let someone sit next to them, even though they only paid for one seat. The boat attendants did nothing to clear up the situation. Finally, we had to sit downstairs, inside the boat, which is covered by windows. There is no air-conditioning and it is so hot inside! The glare of the city lights also reflect off the glass and there is minimal visibility. In other words, we saw very little and sweated for an hour. While they only let you enter the boat a few minutes before the start time, they start the audio tour (via headphones) exactly on time. Given we were desperately searching for seats, we missed the first 17 minutes of the tour. Lastly, to add insult to injury, my kids only drank water while everyone else ordered wine, beer, champagne, etc as their complimentary beverage. When my son requested another glass of water as we were baking inside, they said he’s only allowed one drink, as if water and wine are now the same cost. Skip it and pay for a more exclusive experience which avoids the unruly crowds and poor service. Or do it and arrive 45 minutes early and be the first on line to enter the boat and claim the better seats.

Lifetime experience. However, with a bad experience. I had booked my tockets to celebrate our 50lth wedding anniversary. I booked the tickets during March 2026 we'll in advance. Arrived an hour before the scheduled time and was in the line immediately after the announcement. However could not get to seat together in the upper deck ,as people have been allowed into the gate 2 boarding area out of the queue. A lady probably a local tourist agent came to the ticket counter and kept on getting tickets issued for our clients by passing the queue. So a word of caution for not so smart people, be prepared to face. Not come across such behavior in the western countries or Americas.

The night tour along the Danube with Legenda Cruises was a very pleasant experience. We chose the 8:20 PM tour to be able to see the sunset and thus see the most significant buildings both by day and illuminated at night. We were lucky and we did see them illuminated, since a week before they were not illuminating them due to the lack of water. The drinks on board are fine, the guide is an audio guide, you don't need to bring headphones, it tells you a story while narrating the most significant buildings throughout the tour. On the screen, you can check which building they are referring to. I recommend bringing a jacket even though it is very hot; you will appreciate it at night. The views are beautiful. For me, one of the most highly recommended activities.

$92 spent only to be stuck inside, without air conditioning, behind glass, in stifling heat. Broken headphones that were definitely not sanitized. The waiting line was disorganized: people were cutting in line undisturbed, passing through the poles that marked the queue. Also worth noting are the swarms of gnats and layers of cobwebs near the lights on the departure platform. Shameful. Choose other tours.

Must see - Budapest lit up on this night cruise at 8 pm. Perfect! Relaxing trip with beautiful pictures. Highly recommend.

We made the tour starting at 20:45 on an August day then it was already dark with the entire parliament lit as well as the Buddha Castle and other historic buildings. Costed 25 euros per person with 1:30 cruise, Draft beer and prosecous wine released. We like it!

We had to rebook our time due to the power saving measures BP was experiencing. The operator communicated very effectively and handled it without issue. Cruise itself was nice and did what was advertised and there was a few drink included. Only issue was the row of seats we initially chose had non functional audio players. We had to move and only some of us got to hear the audio, which really does enhance the experience since you don't really know what you are looking at otherwise. Also queue up early if you want to sit upstairs.
