Had a great tour with two other couples. Peter was great and provided lots of information with regards to the wine region and Hungary in general. The meal was great in a true countryside setting.

This was such a fun thing to do!! We booked the 5-hour tour (which I worried might be too long), but it was just right! We learned a lot about wine making, drank a lot of good wine, ate really good homemade food, and sang all the way home!

A fun outing with good wine and a nice lunch. We were picked up and dropped off at the hotel with no issues.

Wonderful way to see the area outside of Budapest and experience the hospitality of small local wineries

Ride a comfy mini bus to wineries in a picturesque area outside of Budapest. We had beautiful views, good wine, and Peter was an excellent guide.

We went on the afternoon tour that started at 3pm. The journey was about 30 mins from Budapest city and we visited 3 wineries (12 drinks in total). We went in the heatwave and the minibus was extremely hot, we'd recommend taking water and a fan for the journey if its a hot day. It was a very friendly group and the tour guide was very knowledgeable. The food was fine, they provided venison, pasta and vegetables. It wasn't fully to my taste but it was an enjoyable meal with everyone. Overall, it was a really good experience and would recommend.

This is the best wine tasting tour I've been on yet! Going out into the countryside was beautiful; tons of sunflower fields and vineyards! Our driver picked us up at our hotel and, while driving around the city to pick up other guests, told us about the various buildings/sites of interest. While driving through the countryside, she gave us background history of the area and was just awesome! The wineries we visited were great and hostesses very professional but warm and friendly as well. We had some really great wines in all three locations, but the meal we had at the last winery was fantastic! And loved visiting with their house cats as well. It was an awesome trip and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We enjoyed this experience immensely! Our tour guide Peter did a great job explaining much about Budapest’s history during our drive to the two wineries as well as providing insight about Hungary’s winemaking history. We visited two very different wineries, enjoying the wines at both. And the second winery included a very tasty homemade lunch. Plus we met some very fun people. Highly recommend this excursion.

We had an amazing time. Peter was our host and took us to two beautiful family wineries in Eytek region. We purchased wines from both! The homemade food was amazing and even more so the people. I highly recommend. Thank you to everyone for this experience. We loved it. I would do it again next time I’m here.
